I'm a first semester freshman at college and I took a class here over the summer and fell in love with the school.

I came back in August expecting to live with a good friend of mine but she ended up transfering instead i got a jehova witness who tried to convert me...I couldn't take it so i moved out into a sports dorm which I was told I would be in until the end of the semester. A week later the girl's roommate came back so I had to move again. A week after that my cash got stolen!!

I didn't have that great of grades in high school and I really want to transfer. It's breaking my mother's heart and I can't understand why!! She's so afraid I'm going to end up not being accepted anywhere else for next semester

She really wants me to stick it out but i'm MISERABLE!! I'm not eating right, I'm depressed, I don't talk to people!! This wasn't me a year ago!!

She refuses to help me look at other schools
she just wants me to get used to here
but i hate it here!!
WHAT SHOULD I DO?!!!
HELP!

since you originally loved the school, it is probably the room mate situation which has you miserable now. If there is a bulletin board, check that to see if perhaps someone living off campus wants a room mate or you might check the local paper for rooms to rent which you can afford.
you can find out where your friend transferred to and see if there is room for you there. If it is another school, perhaps your mother will let you transfer to be with her.
if you are having problems with your grades there, go to a nearby health food store and invest in some DMSO - less than 10$ - and it will help your concentration and memory, and it is all natural so no side effects at all. I take it now and then and friends I have recommended it to all say that they can see a difference in their concentration and memory and thank me for telling them about it.
another thing some students are doing is to buy a house in the area where they are going to school and renting some of the house to other students to make the payments. That pays for the house and when school is done they can sell the house again and actually make money from the investment as well as having saved the money they may have paid for rent otherwise. I hope some of this helps you!!

If she won't help you look around, maybe you need to do that yourself. What is your mom's fascination with that particular school? Is the one from which she graduated?

It doesn't hurt to at least TRY to get accepted at another school. However, you can't just run away from your problems, either. That's not how life works. Sometimes we just have to grow up and learn how to deal with the adverse things in our lives. Besides, who says it's gonna be any better at a different school?

I'm sure that your mom would like to fix those problems for you, but unfortunately, you're probably going to have to deal with them on your own. I'm sorry that you've had so many problems in your freshman year, but it can't stay like that forever.
