Grace is when you get something you dont deserve. It could be forgiveness when you didnt ask for it or getting a loan cancelled for no reason.

It also applies to being nice and courteous to people who have done you wrong. One way of understanding it is "not getting revenge or paying retribution for a wrong." Turning the other cheek instead of hitting back.
