Two cyclists started to ride at 8am: one from A to B, the other from B to A. Each of them rode at a constant speed along the same road and when each arrived at the terminal point, immediately turned back. They met for the first time at 11 am and each of them turned exactly once before they met for the second time. Find the time of their second meeting.

Thanks, a best answer will be voted for!!

okay, so you get salt, pepper, olive oil, and a few spices, lets say your 2 favorite spices. otherwise, what are the five things that you could eat for the rest of your life without deviation. you can say cheese, but you have to specify what exact cheese. you can say bread, but that doesn't emcompass pizza dough. you can say pig or cow or chicken instead of pork chop or steak or wings. you can say tofu, but that doesnt include edamame or tempeh. you get the idea. you can take nutrition into account if you want. this is a tough question.
my 5 are these:
asparagus
tomato
pig
onion
potato

Here's the thing:
One great result of God's act of creation is the existence of a Hell containing billions of souls writhing and screaming in agony throughout eternity...

Does God ever ponder this situation? Does he ever yearn for the time when there was no Hell?

Just the awareness of such a place (existing forever), and all the suffering it contains -- doesn't it ever bother God?

The poor things never have a chance when surrounded by 2 giant bug-eaters. (The other 3 cats aren't so interested.)

I feel almost sorry for the tiny little insects. They're cheating the spider population out of a well-deserved meal! (lol)

I have recently purchased a small red-footed tortoise (4 " approx) and was sold a wooden viv, heat/basking bulb, florescent light, water bowl, hay pellets as a substrate and thermometers. I was advise to make a hide out of a shoe box and put in shredded newspaper (which my tortoise loves). To feed it fruit and veg and occasionally dog food or pinkies. Since been reading about the keeping of this species and I have changed the substrate to cyress mulch ( as seems to be recommended) and have changed the diet accordingly and purchased vitamin supplements too which i include now and again. Brought a cuttlefish bone, but are these ok for non-adult tortoises? Getting a hyrometer as was not advised about humidity and so spray the substrate daily to raise levels. Cannot find mazuri food which is recommended, so got another sort which is given in small amounts occasionally. Also got a reptile branch in basking area...please help with advice to make Redford a happier tortoise....

Forget for the moment you are trying to get published.

Forget for the moment that you are trying to impress the masses.

Looking at what YOU have created with your mind, your imagination, and your creative juices...

How would you define what you have created?

Powerful?

Moving?

Electric?

Sensual?

Inspiring?

What kind of words would you use to exemplify your work?

(No bashfulness allowed!)

Let's say that I somehow accidentally seriously injure someone. Now, this injury is that of which the average person would survive. However, this particular person whom I injured isn't a very happy person, and has no will to live, thereby succumbing to his/her injury and dieing. However, if they had a reason to live, they would have easily recovered.
My question is, in this situation, could I be blamed for their death, or would that be considered, in part, to be suicide? I have a feeling the law wouldn't be on my side, but what about technicallity or morally?

I am a volunteer at an aged care facility, i have only just started so i need as much guidance as possible. i work with about 6 to ten residents, who do not spend much time together, i think its mainly due to personality differences. most have mild signs of dementure, and nearly all of them appear to be bored out of their mind. They hardly even talk, even though they can. I was also dissapointed with the very small amount of resources i had at my disposal. I have gathered a few art supplies to take with me next time, but i would greatly appreciate and ideas or suggestions on activities etc. that i could try, or ideas on where to look for information
