Believing destroys brain cells. The "god feeling" is brain cells dying. But the same happens with not believing since the human mind will find other ways to destroy itself (ie. thinking, music, art, entertainment, education etc.) I think both ultimately do the same damage.

Belief provides comfort and security against the unknown, disbelief provides curiosity and a need to explore that unknown. For me anyway.

There may not be any perks for God belief this year. Once again, God appears to be ignoring prayer and letting the dead rot eternally in their graves.
