I heard that the military charges soldiers for everything. Food, clothes, supplies, ect. The person I heard this from was in the Navy, but is it the same for any of the US armed forces?

If this is true, how is it possible, or ethical, to CHARGE people to put their lives on the line for our country? It doesn't make sense. Is there a valid reason to not just give our soldiers the supplies they need to protect and serve us? I thought that's where the taxes go....?

Can you prove the original bible wasn't burned. Did Jesus say we should pray in a temple? Who wrote the new version of the Bible? Did Jesus have a son? Do you go to heaven when you die, because the Bible says you don't. Is the Bible true, is there only Mary, Jesus, and God in heaven? Will Humans only be let in the gates after the Rapture and Armageddon ?

I have a male crowntail betta and I notice that from time to time, he rests on the bottom of the tank on the gravel and doesn't move much. When I move the tank to get his attention, he jolts up and starts swimming again.

Does my betta have health problems or is this common? What can I do?

Anyone who thinks ancient people were dumb are totally out of touch with what has actually happened.
An ancient man sat down on a stump and wrote the Bible fairy tales and said "this will screw up the future". Is that what i am supposed to believe?
My suggestion is that if you thinks that is the case you take a long walk.

My bf started painting recently after haning around an art major all summer. He will spend hours on these paintings. Then when hes done he puts them in the closet. WHY? If I could paint that good I would show them off or sell them. He told me that painting relaxes him and gives him peace of mind. He said he doesnt do it to make money or show off to people. He did hang one up in his room but other than that nothing. He doesnt like to show other people either. Several times he spent like a week on a painting then after it was done he threw paint on it and started over! I was like why the hell did you do that? He said well I decided that I didnt like it. I could easily see all my mistakes. Why not just start a new one then? Why destroy something you spent so much time on? Can some one please explain all this to me?
