Most people just say: " Christ died for our Sins".

That's pretty clear, I know that. But in what way would His death save us from Sin?

Well said God's Child... He Jesus took the sin of humanity upon Himself. He's already paid the price for your sins & Mine,But we have to ask Him Into our heart to be the lord and Savior of all.For Instance If you had to pay a $50,000.00 dollar fine or be Imprisoned. Then some man you've never met goes and pays your fine so you can go free. That's what Jesus did He paid a debt He didn't owe and we owed a debt we couldn't pay....Rightfully we all deserve hell. But Thank God For His Sacrifice.

I am no expert on this by any means but, I believe Christ somehow absorbed the sins from humanity when he died on the cross. Note that Christ officially went to hell first as stated in the bible, but he lived a very good life. In this way, he relieved all of humanity from their sins!

Okay, Adam was once a perfect man, but when he rebelled against God he lost that perfection and none of his offspring could be born without sin , since sin and death had entered in them through his disobedience. Remember he was told that if he ate from the tree, he would positively die? He didn't die that day, but in that moment, his body started breaking down and dying and so he passed that on to his children.

Well, since they couldn't redeem us from Adamic death, it took another perfect soul like Adam to do this.....enter Jesus Christ, son of God....perfect until death. He bought us from the clutches of sin and death by pouring out his sacred life blood which was untainted by sin.

Summing it all up, it took a perfect life to buy back what a once perfect man threw away. An equal trade.

that's wrong. His death did not save us from sin. His death provided a way to be forgiven for sin. Sin still exists, as sin is the act of disobedience, and rebellion against, an established law or rule. Christ's sacrifice did not nullify the existence of sin, but provided a way to "stand up under it."
Christ's sacrifice provided forgiveness for sin, and absolved us from the due consequence for that sin, which is eternal seperation from God. (hell).
If we so choose to repent and exercise faith in him, (Jesus)then only are our sins forgiven. Depending on what the sin was, there may still be consequences in this life for them, but the final consequence, eternity away from God (hell), is expiated by the atoning sacrifice on Calvary.

His death brought to us forgiveness and absolution from iniquity, His resurrection is what brought us eternal life.

Blood sacrifice. Before Jesus died, there was still a blood sacrifice required for the atonement of sin. Since there were no humans not touched by the original sin, God created one, free from sin and ready to be a perfect sacrifice. When His blood spilled, the price for all humans was paid. Now we do not have to kill a calf, sheep, goat, bird or anything to get forgiveness. just ask.

That's a great question: How could we be saved from sin if we weren't even born and thus hadn't become sinners yet? Furthermore, what is it that determines whether a person is a sinner or not? I don't (and never have) considered my self a sinner...

Anyway, in an attempt at directly answering your question, I think that it means that we are symbolically washed in the blood that he shed, and that this causes us to become clean of sin. This is supposedly the only cleansing which god would accept as legitimate. Of course, this is all just my opinion & belief.

It's by God's own design.

We as imperfect beings could not repair the damage caused by sin to God's satisfaction. We cannot be in God's presence while in an imperfect state. His glory would destroy us.

So the perfect God stepped down from his throne in heaven and became man – a sinless man – the only acceptable sacrifice for all our sins.

It was a substitutionary death. His life for ours.

Did that help?

ok adam and eve comited the original sin. the punisment for sin any sin biggest ( merder rape) to smallest (eating of the forbiden tree) is death of bothe you mortal body and immortal soul. death of the soul is eternal seperation from god. So any way along came mosses and though him god lays down the law of sacrifice of an animal for payment of sin. So the animal took our place. Then comes the massiah Jesus who becomes that sacrifices for all of mankinds sins all at once and forever. he becomes the payment of our sins. Have you ever heard of him being referred to as the lamb. Thats because that was considered the most prized animal in his day to sacrifice and so he gave himself to die for our sins and deccended into hell and deffeated it by raising himself from death and out of hell on 3 days after he died and accended into heaven to sit on the right side of his and our father GOD

Don't you find it odd that an Almighty God is sacrificing his son to his creation... and that his creation is the one that has to accept the sacrifice? In this case, I would have to say that it isn't his death that saves anyone... but their personal belief that does the saving. Because if it were solely his death, it wouldn't matter what we all believed, his death alone would be enough. But obviously his death alone is not enough as one must put forth their belief in it for it to work.

Remember Genesis and original sin? Well, since there is only about one line worth of mankind being in a perfect state of grace, it is sometimes hard to remember that in the beginning, man was completely with God. We fell and separated ourselves from God. Man is not capable of bridging that gap, only God could and He sent His son to 'reopen' the gate to heaven. Jesus came to 'pave the way' for us to follow him on earth and right on into heaven. Without Jesus, there would be no way for us to get to heaven. He saved us all from hell (permanent separation from God).

Hope that helps!
