The car has the option of being put into a manual transmission mode and paddle shifted, but I'm ususally in automatic mode. Will this help my brakes last longer? Use less fuel? Put less strain on my engine while idleing? Cause more wear on my transmission? How about when in stop and go traffic? Or am I waisting my time? Saturn Aura 3.6L VVT.

While cleaning cages yesterday for a shelter (I volunteer) one little kitten took a chunk out of my thumb.
I have never been bit to this degree! Most cats will scratch and give little warning nips, but that is it!
Anyway, the bite didn't require stitches, but I was told I should go to the Dr for a tetanus shot and antibiotics...is this true?
The cat is up to date on all HER shots.

MY FISH DIE SO OFFTEN. i DONT know why i clean the tank about every week. the fish usally sit on the gravel then i find them dead the next day. what should i do i change the water will the gravel cleaner so the water should be clean. i am also trying to bread guppys. please help my fish are dyeing like every week.

When I was younger, my parents especially my dad never made me do chores and didn't ask me about school or how my work was going.
I had an eating disorder and still my dad didn't even notice that I wasn't eating. I mean aren't parents supposed to care about how school is going?? And if you're making friends etc? And, it's not like my parents worked a lot.
My mum also gave me so many hobbies like ballet, I didn't really get a chance to develop my own interests.
Is that some kind of neglect?

I used to live in Seattle, every stove I ever had was electric until I moved to the East coast. I really got used to gas and liked cooking with gas stoves very much. Now I have moved to VA where my apartment has electric. Why such a change? I tend to see more gas stoves in the Midwest or east coast and electric in the west. Is that an overall feeling? Why do you think this is? Or am I just too bored at work overanalyzing?

Ive put in a new English cottage country type garden this year and I used some pretty Lupine plants. They flowered and they were great. Then the flowering stalks went and turned black and seeded. The seed stalks were so ugly and freakish.

Question is: Am I supposed to cut the seed stalks down before or after they seed? I did let them go because I wanted the seeds. But is it ok to cut the freaky black stalks down after the seed?

Also can anyone suggest a good follow-on plant to use in the garden. Something that is fairly tall and willowy and blooms later than the Lupine - perhaps Monarda (bee-balm) or Coneflower? Im in New England, btw.

What kind of hairstyles can I do with the glasses because they seem to sort of mess it up sometimes. I need some styles that involve my hair being down.
