Yeah he's hit 8 home runs over his career against Greg Maddux but that was over more than 120 AB. I think that Greg Maddux won't let Barry Bonds get a homerun tonight. Maddux is a great pitcher and he pitches to win. In a situation like this, he will concentrate even more and I think that not only will Barry Bonds not hit a homerun, but the Padres will definetly win!
(I think Barry will end the season with 760, as much as I hate the guy)

He may have 8 against Maddux, but he hasn't hit one off him since 1998. I don't think Maddux will give him anything to hit because he doesn't want to be the guy to give it up. That doesn't mean he won't do it against a relief pitcher after Greg's out of the game, but don't count on seeing any fireworks against Maddux tonight.

NO..
Didnt you read the article that said Maddux didnt want to give up the homerun? He is going to pitch around or stay very low in the zone.
Maddux, like 90% of America thinks Bonds is a scumbag and doesnt want to be part of this "botched" record.

He has the ability to hit one against any pitcher and he is due to hit one. Be sure to watch the game or the ESPN cut-in tonight.

I sure hope he hits one in SD just to get over it. These milestone record setting hits, hrs, wins seems to be so tough. Perhaps, 755 in SD, and 756 will happen back home at AT&T park adding to the splash hits.

AMEN Iceman! It's funny, I heard that when Bonds sweats, you can smell the "juice" on him.
