I am that kind of person. When I am asked, I often replied, "I am spiritual, but I dont have a religion" If one asked me how, I will explain that I often meditaite and make selfish prayers.
In case if asker wasnt willng to agree such a way of view. I will go on and explain that the God is no where but in our heart, so we dont have to go to church to find out more about it. Also I will explain the simple fact that those religious organisation drive people to dislike each others.
Many faithful think conflicts are people faults. I think that is the faults of both man-made of arrogant religious teachings and people who only respect the religions without applying teaching to their lifes

Searching. The fact you do believe in God is a good start, you may never find one religion that you feel is the right place for you to commune with God. You can do that anywhere from your heart and mind. If you need more structure, try 'em all, that is visit more than one time different churches to see if it feels like a place or group with whom you can worship God.
God Bless and guide you. Peace, June

Religion is a man made construct that detracts from true faith. Faith tells you what to believe, religion tells you how. You don't need a label but if you wish there's agnosticism, spiritual, non-denominational, deist, or whatever you wish to call yourself. It depends on what you believe about God. If you believe there's a god but that it's impersonal that's Diesm. If you believe in the possibility of God then you're agnostic. Labels aren't important. What you feel is.

It's hard to answer questions about a specific person's beliefs without talking to them more in depth.
However, if you want a quick name, then the person could be loosely defined as an investigator... or a deist.
As far as a modern church, the Unitarian Universalists come the closest to deism as practiced by the American government's founding fathers. However, the one thing they unify on is that Jesus Christ was not the son of God, so buyer beware.

Spiritual , which is a good thing. Take your time and figure this question out for yourself. Don't be pressured into anything. There is no shame in finding the right church for you, if you want to find a church. Sometimes just reading the bible is good for you, personally I like to read different manuscripts from those who study the teachings of Jesus. I like his philosophies, but I haven't gone to church in a while or even really belong to a church. Keep an opened mind and find what is right for you.

Well, it depends.
If you think Jesus was the Messiah sent by God, then you're a Christian; unless, of course, you believe what Muhammad said: that Jesus was just a Man and not God in the flesh -- in which case you may be leaning toward Muslim thought. If you don't believe Jesus was Messiah, but believe in the writings of the Old Testament, you lean toward Judaism.
If you don't believe ANY of the Bible is God's word, then you are a pagan.

Lost.
You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that - and shudder. James 2:19
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:9-10

Theist: belief in the existence of a god or gods; specifically : belief in the existence of one God viewed as the creative source of the human race and the world who transcends yet is immanent in the world.
(Theists may or may not belong to an organized religion.)

It is perfectly normal. Some people don't believe a religion (created by man) is nessessarily for them, but they do believe in a higher power.
