I only know of his story up until the point where his Guru Drona asked for his thumb to be cut off. What happens next to Ekalavya and also, other than the symbolism of being a good devotee, what else is to be learned from Ekalavya's story?

Is it possible to fix an open bite without surgery? I.e with orthodontics? My dentist told me that it's not possible without surgery, is that true?

I ask because I seem to remember something about correcting it.

There were three couples, one elderly, one middle aged, and one newlywed, that wanted to join a church. So the minister tells them that in order to be members they must abstain from sex for two whole weeks. After two weeks, the minister asks the elderly couple if they had abstained.
"Yes, no problem!" So the minister welcomes them to the church. Then he asks the middle aged couple the same question

"Well, after one week, the husband had to sleep on the couch, but we made it!" So the minister welcomes them to the church. Then the minister asks the newlywed couple if they had abstained from sex for two weeks.

"We were unable to abstain. On the third day, my wife dropped a can of corn and when she bent over to pick it up, LUST and PASSION overcame me!"

"I'm sorry," the minister says, "but you are both banned from this church!"

"That's okay," says the husband, "We were banned from the supermarket, too."

...Does that mean the more religious a man is, the less intelligent?

I think of some of the greatest scientist, chemist, physicist, astronomers and inventors who have revolutionized how we view the world and technology today. They were very firm believing Christians, but without them we probably wouldn't be using a light globe, let alone the internet.

Your thoughts please.

Just wondered if anyone else has encountered the spline wearing out thus being unable to change gear or have great difficulty trying to.The allen screw tightens right up but the gear lever still rotates on the splines.Anyone got any suggestions for a Mod rather than buy another linkage? I've tried taking the screw out and putting a nylock nut and bolt through for extra tightness but still no joy.Maybe I could clamp the splined gear lever a little bit in a vice?

I have been suffering with depression on and off for the last 5yrs. I have been on anti-depressants prescribed by my GP before but didnt really get on with them.
This time i want to try a natural remedy to see if that is better. I decided to try St Johns Wort.
My question is: I am currently taking Microgynon 30 birth control pills. Will the St Johns Wort make this ineffective??

Many Thanks in advance for you answers.

We're the only industialized nation without universal healthcare, yet we are suppose to be the richest nation on earth? Other countries can afford health-care for their citizens, but we susposably cannot. Something sure isn't adding up with those claims. Either we are the richest nation on earth and can afford universal health-care or we do not have it due to too many insurance companies (and others) who fear they'd lose their big profits. Hmm...

I had a dream last night that in a galaxy far, far away. there was a group of planets each in differant stages in years. how do we know that there maybe not another planet with other humans on but abit back or forward in time. e.g. electricity on there planet hasn't been invented. Or another planet has fount a cure for cancer and other mind boffing things that were just to thick to figure out. what if theres some way to travel millions of lightyears to deap galaxy and discover these planets. think about it mars jupitor and all them other named planets arn't just the only other planets. i really belive theres are millions of planets with life on them. and these so called aliens are just other people which are ahead in inventions and evelved more than us have created vehicles that can travel so fast and they've gone to search for other planets just as were so optimistic.

there must be people with my thoughts :P please comment on this intresting topic :D byee
