Two hooks separated by about 18-inches. One hook should be at the bottom near the sinker, the second hook 18 inches away from the bottom hook. This way you find out where in the water column the fish are hanging out and feeding.

It sounds like it would be the same as a crappie rig. It's a piece of mono with liitle arms coming off at different parts of the leader where you can connect your snelled hooks. Put a sinker on the bottom. I've also seen "pike rigs" set up the same way only with a third arm for an additional hook and wire leader.
As you see I'm a fresh water angler. So if that is a name for a salt water type rig I'm not familiar.
