Doing a bit of research for work, I've been asked to do a little bit of research in regards to what risk assessment is.
I have it defined as "The severity of a hazard multiplied by the likelihood of the hazard arising".
I've been told that his is a load of bull, and that there is a much more in depth approach to risk assessment! I need help! Any sources would be greatly appreciated

10+ vilation e-mails this morning. I was expecting this due to my heated criticism of Muslims yesterday, but it turns out ALL of the violations were on my posts where I pointed out flaws in the Bible, or said things that were Atheist-oriented.

Is that how you get even with someone that you can't win an argument intelligently with?

You will burn in hell for being an Atheist, but until then, I will make sure you get suspended just so your side of the argument will not be heard. So sad....

I just want to try it out and see how it is. If I have a couple of matches and if people like me then I might take it a little further. It's a small club we have but they train you and people come to watch. It's fun.

right now i'm in this nationals tournament for baseball it's 13u there are teams from everywhere california, missouri, texas, NY, viginia, memphis, florida and more. but anyway I pitch and i throw around 72-75 and i think that's pretty good for my age, I dont let up alot of runs i do pretty good, but then after the game i walk over to watch the other games and there is a kid who's throwing 80 and he's getting rocked there hitting him like crazy and he was placing his pitches well he had an unbelivable 12-6 curve but still he was getting hit. and also what i dont get is that when i pitched against the team who hit this kid they only got 6 hits off of me. why is it that a kid who is a much better pitcher than me gets killed by the same team who did decent against me. o by the way i know he throws 80 cuz right when the kid threw the first pitch in the game the coach grabbed his radar gun walked over and clocked it and it said 82

I really want to honestly talk about things with my bf of 3...nearly 4 months. I just get the feeling that he's not convinced of his feelings for me, as result im not convinced either, perhaps its just how he is (needs time?)...and not him being secretative.

It seems he does really like me, he says i turn him on & we have fun...but am I right for him? I feel that if you really care for someone, u'd naturally want to tell them that & I seem to have to coax it out of him about what he thinks. I want to know to that he wants to be with me, just not out of politeness or coz he has nothing better to do.

Should I just sit back patiently and wait to see what happenes? or broach the subject, I really dont know how to though.

Say you're going out with someone for a year. You've definitely have had your ups and downs--there have been many red flags indicating a strong potential for emotional abuse on their end--but after some deep talking after taking a little break and promises from the other person to try to make changes, things look good for a couple months. Really good. You're being told you're loved all the time. You're being told how wonderful their life is with you in it. You're beginning to regain some trust in them.

Then, one day, this person says to you "I love you. It's you I want to be with. You. Nobody else.' There's a strange twist in inflection on the 'you.' So, you jokingly say, 'What? Are you thinking about being with somebody else?' They reply, 'Only in my head.'

Is this a comment engineered to undermine my self-esteem and confidence, or am I--as they have implied--'over-reacting?'

Is is emotional abuse?

a few weeks ago i broke up with my bf Zak and he got a new gf
and when ever we hag out with our friends his gf is always with
him well anyways two nights ago i was at his house with my friend Kristen and she past out on the couch and i went to the kitchin to get a glass of water and zak was in there without his shirt on and i almost pastout and he did this whole cleshey story and im still mad at myself for listening but when he looked into my eyes the way he did when we were together my heart melted then he kissed me and this one sent fireworks but the way he did it he pushed me aganst the wall and kissed me
im conffused do i still love him or was just the way he was holding me or was it the great kiss this morning his gf called me and said thanks to me he dumped her is it realy my falt or dose he still love me

on this whole belief that jesus will return, doesn't this imply that he left us? and if he left us, he's not necessarily everywhere then. and therefore one cannot claim he is omnipresent, therefore he is not a god? on the contrary, if he is god and he is everywhere, then how can he return if he is already here?

I am beginning my college life for the first time and wondering what do I have to do now, so in the future, when I decided to apply to any med school, I will surely be accepted? I am a freshman, and just heard about internships. What is this "internship" thing? Is this needed. I also took nursing courses in high school.
