I would like to get into acting, writing a book, or movie screenwriting in the future. How do I go about getting/using a stage name without legally changing the name I was born with? Can I use my stage name to open a bank account? What about if/when I want to get a SAG card? I have tried doing a Google search and got zilch.

I am looking at buying a house while during the orginal inspection I noticed a that the ceiling was saggin in the loungeroom. It is an old style colonial house built I imagine around 1950. I had a building inspector come in today that said that is could be fixed by running a steel beam along the roof from the front of the house to the back at a 90 degree angle to the rafters and tyeing them up to it. Has anyone done this before or has advice on this situation. Do you think it will solve the issue without creating more problems? How much do you think this will set me back?
I would appreciate any and all insights!

so we found this dog, we thought she was a stray bcause she was so skinny and her nails are like an inch long. So we decided to keep her. She looked like she was unowned for the longest time. We named her drop dead fred, aka fred or fredrica. So 2 days later, i was walking her and a girl came up to me and said "thats my dog!" she said she lost it 2 days befor, and thats when we saw her. So she took her home. she said if anything comes up and they can't keep her they'd give the dog to us and we agreed. But fred, or meena, eats really well. So they must not feed her much. i mean u can c her back bone!!!!!! And her nails are soo long!! so she clearly wasn't taken to the vet. She's not taken care of and she's only a baby. (she's a chihuahua) If they can't take care of it, they shouldn't have it. What shouldi do???? PLEASE HELP!!! i love animals and i'll do everything i can to help them!!! so please help us!!

I have a friend who works for a taxi company and gets paid by a check that doesnt have any tax taken out. Also, at the end of the year he never recieves a 1099. Is there any reason why the taxi company would not provide a 1099 ?? Is it illegal for the taxi company to not give a 1099? I am very confused about this. Is there some type of exemption if you are considered as a indepent contractor or self employed for the employeer to not give some type of 1099? I am very frustrated about this. My wife works at 4:00am until 11:00am then she goes to school from 12:00am - 4:00pm. And i work from 6:00 am - 6:00pm. Anyway since we have working schdules like that she wants her drunk mother to watch our children. She always drinks when shes at home and also at our house in front our children who are 7 and 3. And sometimes even passes out, and im worried she might pass out and the kids might be dead because she wasn't watching them since she was passed out. What should i do or say to my wife? She doesn't think her mom's a drunk

I had a guy on here tell me that "It's in the Bible" isn't an argument.... but yet he felt that giving me a link to an article was. So his reading material carries more of an argument than mine?
Isn't it ironic that someone felt that my resources could not be used, but his could? Is it possible that he knows that he can't really disprove the Bible, and is more so saying that it isn't fair of me to use something he can't rationally argue against?

Why cant we just teach spirituality and science in one class:
First:This is what God said He did
Second:This is the physical science of how He did it.

I am talking about those prongy training collars. I, personally, have never used one, but have seen them being used on dogs being walked. They look painful. Do they just look this way and really aren't? Am I missing something here?
