Well... I just got my first guinea pig and everyone say you should pick it up. I'm not exactly sure how to pick it up so I can't. I really want to make really great friends with my guinea pig, Rocky, but I just can't seem to.

I got him two days ago, but I can't manage to pet him. I move my hand slowly towards him and gently talk to him, but he just leaps and runs when I hardly touch him.

Are all guinea pigs that way?

I also bought him an Igloo Hut and he likes to run around it...?

what did you think of it?
i thought it was a disappointment, i could have waited to only spend 2 dollars to see it instead of theater price.

Training for being an X-ray technician goes for two years strait with no summer breaks monday through friday from eight in the morning til four thirty in the afternoon. I heard that they pay you during training but i have a hard time beleiving that can anyone help me with my delimma?!

what kind of sense of humor would one have if they considered, the passing of gas humorous, very humorous??? And got a kick out of doing it in ppls faces and what not? They say they are just playing and enjoy laughing at the different smells and sounds that it makes...... I find it sorta gross, but they dont. What is your opinion on this. And the person is 26 yrs old, does that make them immature????

We just bought a Cocker Spaniel puppy on Thursday night. I had specifically asked the breeder if the dog had fleas BEFORE I decided to buy him and he, of course, said "no." When we got the puppy, I noticed he was scratching his ears and he pointed out that dogs always get itchy. I didn't think anything of it because our cockers always had ear problems. However, the dog has been scratching non-stop because he has fleas. We have 2 cats and have NEVER had fleas in our house or yard. Now I have to put all the animals on frontline, wash everything, shampoo the carpets, treat the puppy for some sort of dermatitis reaction to the flea bites, and spray the house and yard. The vet bill was $235!
I called the breeder on Saturday about the fleas and said how mad I was about the fleas. I asked for him to call me back. I've left 2 more messages since and he hasn't returned my calls! Can he be held liable for all these expenses? Please help! Thanks!

Does anyone know of a Dr. in Houston that doesn't use Statin Drugs for high cholesterol and high triglycerides? I am taking TWO statins and want to get off of at least one, if not both of them. I would like to find someone with experience in doing this treatment.

In reference to the recent crash in Phoenix, wouldn't it make more sense for the pilot of the news helicopter to do the flying and have the cameraman do the live on-air television reporting? It seems to me that a cameraman screwing up a video shot b/c he's talking is a much more desirable mistake than a pilot becoming too distracted and causing pilot error.
