We see so much hatred around here that I thought it was time for a nice question.

The Old Covenant declared that a curse would come on Israel if they broke God's Law. In Leviticus 26:19 God said he would make their heaven as iron and in Deut. 28:23 he said it would be as brass.
Naturally speaking, lack of rain for crops and livestock would be a devasdtating punishment.
Spiritually symbolic too. There would be no answer to their prayers as a result of their disobedient.

This teaching about heaven being shut up against God's people if they don't tithe also comes from Malachi 3 where God is rebuking the nation of Israel for breaking the covenant. In verse 10 he says:
"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, andprove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, hat there shall not be room enough to receive it."

Israel wasn't giving God the tithes that were required by their covenant, so they were anation of God-robbers and they were under a curse. God...

Do you know what is worse that missing something you never had?
Letting go of something you really wanted!
Lying to yourself just so that you can feel better!
Wanting something that is already someone else's!
Accepting tha choices others make even if it hurts!
Continuously wandering on the what if's!
Giving up something that was rightfully yours!
Crying about it and knowing it doesn't change a thing!

"Research by the Children’s Society indicates that around 100,000 children go missing each year. Those estimates are corroborated by research for the Government’s social exclusion unit review of young runaways in 2002 and by statistics from the Metropolitan police.

That means that, on average, every five minutes of every day a child goes missing in the UK."

Another source i've found says 77,000 children go missing p.a. and every piece of objective writing i've come accross on the issue so far has said that there is actually NO uniform system for tracking missing kids, nor is there a real figure known for the number of them that go missing each year.

Personally, while I did pray for Maddie, and while it is a great shame that she has not been found, it concerns me that one girl (who just happens to be a white Christian) get's so much publicity, while others are ignored.

What do you guys think?

Seems like every other day you hear about how the White House just flat out refuses to obey court orders, defies Congressional committees, blocks investigations, and uses secrecy and claims of executive privilege to keep information secret, even from other branches of the govt. Even if I supported Bush/Cheney, I'd find it hard to justify such arrogance and power-grabbing. After all, my loyalty is to my country and democratic process before any politician/person. The outlines of a near-dictatorship sem to be forming and it's scaring the crap out of me. Yet, the average person seems oblivious...

I have the most amazing pair of jugs... they are the envy on the whole street.... people just stop and stare at my jugs all the time... they even take my breath away when I stop and look at them..... eveery one wants to see my jugs.... Often I will just put them on public display in the window..... However when ever the milkman calls round he always comments on my jugs.... but I cant stop him fiddiling with them, he touches them, playes with them...... and I want him to stop.......


I am so affraid he may break them.... thy are over 100 years old... been in the family for years.....! How can I stop him?

Hello, last week I went to the doctor because I was having bad tooth pain with drainage, so I knew that It was an infection. The doctor prescribed clindamycin(antibiotic) and lortab(pain pill). I have been taking the antibiotic's for a total of 5 day's and my teeth still hurt...all day long. The pain pill's bring me no relief. I'm am so tired of crying and hurting. However it is my understanding that I must complete these antibiotic's before any dental work can be done. Understandable, but the thing is, it feel's as if the infection is not leaving. Why else would I still be in pain? If there is anybody out there who has and knowledge in the dental field, I would like to know is this normal, for my teeth to still be hurting a great deal after 5 day's of antibiotic's? I still have 5 day's to go, but usually the pain would have subsided a bit. Thank's in advance for your help.
