Dear Jitendra Ji,

All the definations given by you are correct and relevent but none of them is complete or perfect.

As there has been thousand ways the God has been defined, but none of the said single defination suffices to explain what God is.

Similarly no single defination can define Love.

So - May I be allowed to conclude
God is Love
Love is God !

By the way, the best defination which till date has become most popular and relevent

Sirf Ehsah Hai Yeh Rooh se Mehsoos Karo
Pyar ko Pyar hi Rahne Do
Koi Naam na do.

This great work has also defined Love in 4 Paras but then again none of them is complete and fully describes this greatest gift of God

I partially agree with the definition at 'c' "Love is the complete surrender of self to the Lord". I say this way:
"Love is the art of learning about own-self (Lords' presence in self) in complete, which leads one to care the all around self, before caring the self".

I disagree with all the aforesaid definitions of love.

Love is LOVE

its not love if it can be bound by words or definitions or feelings or thoughts, or actions or ocurrences....

Love is because it IS

Love is beyond everything even GOD and hence God too is bound by LOVE.

Thanks

I remember one song by mahakavi Bharathiar, the translation ( i have tried my best) is this :

On the wings of Crow I see your Black color oh nandalala!
On hearing all the sounds i hear your sweet voice oh nandalala!
On seeing things i see your Green color oh nandalala!
On sensing the heat puting my fingers into flame i feel like touching you Nandalala........................

Bharathi a great Shaktha sings this song praising Krishna.

So i would say if i see God / The luved one in what ever i do or see or feel or sense or touch or..... that's LOVE!!!

Love is the life force on this earth. We r all products of love and we sustain life on earth with love only. As blood runs in our veins and is important to living life but water, air, food r also important but they r supplementary so love is prime in life.

Love means sleeping with your spouse and expecting sexual gratifications.

I am generally not for out of marriage love, but once in a while that also is ok, provided it is within some decent limits.
