that's a bit hard to answer because if its not up to you,exactly what can you do?
but if its a custom & you are not happy with the decision speak up & defend yourself & say its not for you that you have decided to do other things
this is a real hard one Eric for me without more facts :)

Circumstances such as this seem to be my way of life. When it comes to being a disabled dependent type, I don't have much say in anything. All I can do is ignore it, struggle through it, or--if need be--fight it (until something gives). Usually, I will ignore things that are minor inconveniences and fill my time with things I like to do. Sure, it sounds passive-aggressive. But it is the quickest way out of something that isn't so catastrophic like, say, Social Security Reform.

Well, if there's absolutely nothing I can do to avoid the fate that waits, then I can't really complain but try to cope with the bad and try to live through it. BUT I'd also try to accentuate the positive and take every advantage presented to me by these changes that are out of my control.

be patient and try to rethink it over and over until i come to a reasonable decision which is either i try my best to block it or just go with the flow! ^_^
