The problem lies with a car loan and a $5000 loan my fiancee co-signed for his sister. All his bills are always paid on time but his sister has been paying late or not at all on the loans. The two loans are the only thing that stand out as bad on his credit report. I pay my bills on time. I have one bad thing on my credit report, which is a hospital bill, and we have a car in both our names, which we pay on time. We are getting married soon and I need to know if it's going to affect my credit in any way. Could we still get married? Will they come after me if the loans don't get paid? Will we still be able to buy a house? I need to know cause not knowing is really stressing us out.

I love frogs and the nice bugs which help my lawn and garden grow. I sprayed around the base of the house to keep bugs out, but I do not want to kill the ecosystem or drive the birds and frogs and other nice creatures from my property. But then again, I hate mosquitos (in Houston) and I hate spiders. Ants are easy to see and kill (with their mounds), so I don't find them annoying. I have no pest problems except mosquitos (which I am killing with an octenol-based bug zapper). What should I do?

Okay here's the situation. I work overseas and when I file my taxes I file a 2555 Foreign Earned Income Exlusion with my 1040. In previous years I've declined having taxes withheld because I knew I would meet the requirements for the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion.

This year however, I wasn't sure if I was going to stay overseas so I've been having taxes withheld. I was talking to a coworker who told me she had taxes withheld for the same reason last year but met all requirements and when she filed, instead of getting the $14k + back she only got around $700. I called the IRS and they said I should get it all back, but, it is the IRS we're talking about here.

So, on one hand I have the IRS telling me Ill get it back and on the other I have someone telling me from experiance I won't.

Does anyone have knowledge of this and if so what do you suggest?

I don't know exactly how to word this, so I'm gonna try the best I can. I had a sort of...realization, I suppose. I realized that I live such a sheltered life, it hit me that the biggest obstacle I have to face during the day is which outfit to wear or which car to drive to school. When there are people who have the weight of the world on their shoulders every single day, people that are dying because they don't have enough food or good health care. I really want to give something back or do charity work or something...something to make myself feel like I actually have a purpose here, that I'm needed. And not that my ultimate goal in life is shop and spend money. So please, if you could direct me to any sites that tell you what you can do to volunteer I would appreciate it so much. Thanks in advance

For our annual Christmas Party, we will be playing a variation on the game "Family Feud." As you may know, this game requires people to guess at that the results of various public survey's. We thought it might be a good idea to post some of those survey questions here, and see what kind of results we get. So please feel free to respond with a single answer choice; all earnest answers are greatly appreciated.

Today's question is "What is your favorite classic, animated Christmas Special (please pick only one)?" Examples might be Frosty, Rudolph, Peanuts, etc. Thanks!

It sure must be something bigger then a little BJ in the oval office. Bush refusing to let his aides testify is tantamount to admitting guilt in this case. Shame on him.

Over the last 27 years, we have had a King Dobby, 2 Akitas, and an Irish Wolfhound. Hubby argument: great protectors and loyal. Kids argument: they look cool on a leash and you can wrestle with them. My argument (which goes unnoticed): expensive dog food (40 lbs every 3 weeks), bigger vet, and grooming bills, vacuming daily due to large amounts of hair bunnies, smashed toes from being stepped on, bruses from swinging tails, massive amounts of distruction during puppy years, cant landscape back yard (gazzebo, I wish), and why should I transport them in my van when my hubby has a perfectly good truck? Any suggestions appreciated.

The main enemy of terrorists is Bush. That means he defends innocent people who are vulnerable to attacks by terrorists. But instead of praising him some people make fun of him and criticise him. Is it not sad?

If i moved out of the unit on the 2nd of July and returned the keys that day around 8pm. The landlord recieved the keys upon there arrival in the morning the following day because they were closed. They are saying i must pay for the full day on the 3rd even though i returned key on the 2nd because the did not regain possesion of the unit until the 3rd. I think that is not right because i returned keys on the 2nd, i should not be held responsible because they were not there. I put the keys exactly where they lease says to put the rent. If i were to pay the rent on the 2nd and they recieved it on the 3rd as long as it was in the drop box upon there arrival i would not be charged a late fee. I think the same should go towards returnng keys.
Please advise

I have people living in my parents house on land contract and they haven't made a payment in over 18 months. My parents want to give me and my fiance the house and the people won't leave! I've given them 60 days to get out and they keep saying they can't find a place which is such a lie because we live in a college town with thousands of rental properties and the students are gone for the summer and they're all empty. I said they have to be out by the 15th and they still don't have a single box packed. I DON'T want to have to take them to court because I have a full time job and don't have the time for that crap. Is there anything that I can do to get them out? Am I legally allowed to change the locks and make them pack their sh!t and get out? Please, any legal advise would be much appreciated.

I want to get a B.A. from UCLA but I've been out of school for a while. I have many options as far as a major because this is just for enjoyment, not work specifically so I don't necessarily want to apply to an impacted major and get rejected if I can apply to a non-impacted major and get in. I like the arts, humanities, languages and social sciences.
