Dear All,

how can i use t-sql to count the number of char in a text field?

for example:
text: '123,Jimmy,Assigned a job, close the job'

I need to cout number of ',' in this text, so output for this example is 3

What is the code in T-SQL?

Just something I noticed- the media never seems to pick on heavy black women. Look at Queen Latifa- she's absolutely beautiful, but no one could say she's a tiny little thing. (I know there are more, but I don't really follow any sort of celebrities, so I don't know names) As soon as a white woman gets a little cellulite, its all over the tabloids. I can't really think of a successful heavy white woman that isn't considered butch. It seems like they have to be anorexic to be popular. Has anyone else noticed that? Anyone have a theory as to why?

then my home in a tornado.no insurance.lost everything.
i am now disabiled with so much pain its hard to bare.the headaches are terrible.i can hardly walk sometimes.

when one says that they see the act of homosexual sex as, for lack of a more politically correct word, gross? I have nothing against a person's sexual orientation and have actively supported the civil rights of homosexuals. But while I absolutely have no intention to offend, I do have an adverse reaction to the thought of homosexual sex. While I would like to be indifferent, it is my natural reaction. Does that offend you? If it does, I sincerely apologize.

I know what a prime number is ( A number only divisible by itself or 1) I want to know if there is an easy formula to work out Prime Numbers when they get into the hundreds and thousands etc . Otherwise I could sit here for years ? lol.

In the startup company I work for, my boss can't afford to pay me what he knows I deserve right now (but will hopefully be able to in less than a year) and wants me to hold off and wait. I told him that if I am not going to be compensated financially then at least I should have good benefits.

Besides for insurances and 401ks (which are out due to small company) what should I demand?

How many sick days?
How many vacation days?
How many legal holidays?

What other perks can I request to compensate for my hard work?

I want my sci-fi/thriller to be about an escape from a town. The problem is that for almost my whole life I lived in San Diego, where theres only one sunny weather for the whole year.

San Diego is definiatly not the kind of place I want my novel to take place in, but since I never lived anywhere else, I can't even imagine what other towns would be like!

Even if I make up my own town, I still need at least some groundwork. How do other people come up with facinating setting? I dont get it. The town has to be interesting, and alot of potential for a good story.

This has always been one of those faint rumors that I've heard off and on, but never seen the reg (nor known *where* to find the reg) ---- If an officer were to win the lottery, inherit a large sum, or somehow make a lot of money, then would they be forced to resign their commission over conflict of interest concerns?
