I went out on a date with this cop.The guy was a gentleman, even bought me a CD I told him I'd burn b/c he wanted to do something nice. We held hands or occasionally he'd put his arm around me. While in line, he recognized someone when standing in line, but couldn't pin-point it. One diss...he put down the arm rest between us and he realized that. We held hands during the movie or cuddled, had his hand on my leg. Now here's what I don't get. The movie was packed! I got ahead of him tryin to get out, I clasped his hand, but he was tryin to make his way thru. He waited 4 me outside the restroom. But when I got slowed down, he didn't automatically realize it. He looked to both sides, then back, saw me behind, waited, but then went ahead. He met up outside, walked w/me to his car, but didn't wait for me to get my car started before he left. Here's the catch. He said he wanted to be home by 11 (he drove 1hr 15 min there) b/c he works early. He said nothin was wrong. What u think?

I have four DDR mats that plug into my Xbox. I also have a 360. But since it's backwards compatible, and I can play regular Xbox games on it, I'd like to sell the regular Xbox. BUT I need to know if there is some sort of cable out there that will allow me to plug my regular Xbox dance pad controllers into the Xbox 360. Some sort of two-ended plug?

i have 2 children (2boys) when my first was born we nearly called him rhys but changed it to kieran then my sister got pregnant had a boy and called him rhys, then i got pregnant again had another boy we had the names callum or nathan we choose nathan but then my sister got pregnant and called her second son callum now i am pregnant again and so is my sister i told her if it was a girl i would call her erin now yesterday i aked her what are you gonna call the baby if it is a girl? guess what she said erin

I was just utterly stunned by a few of the answers to the linked question, and am wondering how anyone could possibly arrive at the conclusion that a 4-year-old child could be responsible for his own death. Would you mind looking over some of the answers and voicing your opinions on the whole matter, but particularly the 'dumb kid' remarks?

Leviticus 12:2
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
Leviticus 12:5
But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
A woman who gives birth to a child must undergo a purification ritual lest her "uncleanness" contaminate others. This not only entails her isolation, but also payments to priests for the ritual acts. Thus the male dominators had even made birth dirty.
Notice here that if a woman bears a female child, her isolation must last twice as long as that if she gives birth to a male child! (See also Psalms 51:3-5)

Hoping ImACatholic2 can jump in on this question.

I'm not Catholic. I know quite a bit about Catholicism, but I'm Protestant (United Methodist). Because of this, I never really looked TOO deeply into this docterine since Protestants do not accept it. Anyway....

What's the history of the Immaculate Conception docterine? I know it was made an official teaching by the Catholic Church during Pope Pius IX on December 8, 1854 (? Not sure about the exact year, but think that's right) But there has to be a longer discussion about it than that.

Did the Church Fathers have anything to say about it? What about different Theologians (i.e. Aquinas) before then?

VicSEO always mentions the fact that Pentax SLR's have shake reduction built into the camera.

On Nikon VR and Canon IS lenses, there are two modes of stabilization. One is for those times when you are trying to hold still and take a picture of a stationary object. The other is for those times when you are trying to pan along with a moving object or when you are in a moving vehicle trying to take a picture.

I assume the shake reduction can be turned off for those times when you prefer not to use it, but how does Pentax address the issue of needing different algorithms for shake reduction for different situations? If this is not dealt with in the camera properly, I highly prefer the Nikon-Canon approach to putting it all in the lens and giving you the option of choosing the proper mode.

Cause with 1 and 2 you have less chance of missing a number randomly.

But with 1 2 3 you could and do get two numbers more often then the 3rd. Statisically if the world worked 100% of the time you would roll all three numbers before rolling the same number twice.

Here are the numbers I got:

2,2,3,2,3,1, 2,3,3,1,2,3,2,2,2,3

How come luck ran out on the 1? Is there something about it being on odd number????

This happened almost consistently for two hours with an occasional two 1's in a roll.

I was wondering if there is some mathatical theory to this?

Also I tried it on a different day and 3 was the least number rolled

Ok i really like this guy.. he is great.. he has this ex girlfriend he always goes back to though.. i want to have a relationship with him. But idk its weird..
