My husband is East Indian (been in the USA since he's been 6 y.o.) and I am American. Our marriage is great, and we've been together for 2 years. My mother-in-law, however, feels that the Indian culture is the only game in town. During the wedding planning, I kept incorporating Indian traditions to make the family happy. I've worn saarees for family events, taken relatives back and forth to the airport, made sure to say Aunt and Uncle in their language. I try everything and my MIL seems to never be happy. My husband has supported his family both financial and emotionally for years (father-in-law had a stroke and brother with autism), I would never oppose this because I'm very close with my family too. But I feel a great sense of competition and she has caused problems in the past for attention. I keep giving and giving, and lately I've stopped because I'm so drained from it all.

what is the deal with these people who answer these questions and lie about the answers. Who are they trying to impress, some of these things about caring for others, come on, what is wrong with saying what you would really do in the situation or have done in the situation. Why do so many people get on here and try to make them sound like they are better people than what they really are. Don't come down on me because I speak truthfully about how I feel, I prefer to be honest in cyber life and in real life.

My brother doesnt want me to move and hates my husband and has said if I ever try to move , he will call cps, have the children taken away and given to him and I will have nothing. Its just a tactic to make me stay in closer proximity to him. What is my recourse as my children overheard this threat, are scared now and I am very uncomfortable that he will carry out his threats.

I have witnessed several perfect strangers that have never met this child before say that she is "evil." I have personally talked with this child to find out if it is something else. In addition I had this child stay with a former school teacher of 27 years and she gave up because during an incident at a store this child told security that she did not know her and nearly got her arrested. I have seen this child brag about being stronger and unable to feel pain to the other children and adults. This child has drew a pentegram on her dora the explorer doll's forehead. When asked why she did that she did not know. When asked if she has seen that sign before she said she never had. I am the most skeptical of all people but I am at a rut. I have seen this child lift items heavier than a adult without any sign of straining. This child is approximately 40 pounds and I have witnessed this child lift a full lenght sofa with one hand. This child doesn't seem to shed a tear and is fearless.

Red

Red packages and large, red brand names make your heart beat faster and increase adrenaline flow. Red communicates power and vitality and stimulates a desire to conquer.

Yellow

Yellow is the most visible color -- the reason it's used on road signs. Yellow also makes packages look larger. It makes us think of the sun: warmth, happiness and often "newness." Yellow is also used to convey a cut-rate image and, if not used properly, can detract from a product's perceived quality.

Blue

Blue implies cleanliness and purity and induces thoughts of sky and water. It often conveys feelings of serenity, confidence, knowledge and credibility (remember that the next time you have an important meeting).

Green

Green used to imply spoiled food, so marketers avoided it. Today, green is used more often than other colors because it represents natural and healthy things, like trees and meadows.

White

White makes us feel fresh and light and is often used on diet or lower-fat foods. It's also associated with dairy products (especially milk) and so implies freshness and purity.

Black

Black looks elegant and sophisticated. Manufacturers use it to imply a sense of class and quality.
