I must say skirt steak and mixed veggies are my favorites. You marinate the steak in garlic, tomatoes, lime, cumin, and basil overnight. Make sure the grill is nice and hot and put them on for 3 or 4 minutes per side (longer if you like well done). Take off, wrap in foil and let rest while you prepare the veggies. For the veggies, I like squash, eggplant, tomatoes (though a fruit), and mushrooms. Slice them thick so they don't slip between the grill and just before they go on the fire, toss them in salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Leave them on until they just begin to char. If you really want to get fancy, slice some peaches and plums in half-remove pit-put on the grill for a couple of minutes and serve with vanilla bean ice cream.

I like the classic burgers on the grill but if I can afford it, I love steak on the grill with a side of grilled shrimp. I love corn on the grill too, either grilled in the husk or out of it, but if I grill it with the husk, the seasonings seems to stick better.

Depends on what you like. You can almost cook anything on the grill that you cook inside.

Any meat, vegetables, etc.

Last week, I threw some potatoes in the microwave until tender, then cut them into bite size pieces.

I put these on skewers along with mushrooms, onions, peppers, & chicken.

While cooking, I poured a little wine over them....they tasted great!

We love to buy a whole bunch of different sausages: Italian (hot and sweet), turkey, chicken, etc., with all kinds of herbs and seasonings. We cook them up and cut them up and everyone gets an assortment served with crusty French or Italian bread.

Holy moley - so easy - and good stuff.

If you're feeling ambitious, cook up some onions and green and yellow peppers on the side.

I like rosemary potatos (cooked on the upper grate of my grill while cooking other meats)

Cut up any potato into 1" cubes and place on foil... drizzle olive oil over the potatos (liberally) then place some fresh sprigs of rosemary... roll up and seal the foil (may want to poke some holes in the top for steam escape) and place on your grill on an upper grate or over low heat and let them cook... I usually start the potatos 30 minutes before putting on my meat... yum...

bbq chicken and these potatoes we make which are pretty easy. we slce some med. sized potatoes about 1/4" thick (allowing about 1 1/4 potatoes per packet) and thinly slice a large onion (which is enough for 3 to 4 packets). toss together in a big bowl with black pepper. take sheets of foil and put potatoes in center. put a good pat of butter n center. fold p to prevent drips. bbq until done. turn every 10 mins or so

My favorite,favorite grill food are:

Honey Grilled Sweet Potatoes

These grilled sweet potatoes are so good you'll want to cook them all year round. They are also incredibly easy to make! Just remember to keep an eye on them so they don't burn.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound sweet potatoes
1/4 cup honey
1/4 butter

PREPARATION:
Preheat grill. Clean sweet potatoes, cutting off any bad spots. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Place on grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes on one side. Soften butter and mix with honey. Spread mixture over slices and turn. Continue grilling about 6-8 minutes. Turn and spread on more honey butter. Continue grilling until honey butter gets all bubbly.

I dont know about meals, but whenever I know we're going to be grilling I buy a pineapple. Slice it from top to bottom and throw them on the grill--- mmm it brings out different flavors and is sooooo yummy. so try it next time you pull the grill out.
