The problem for me is that the rampant commercialism, milquetoast driver interviews, and lack of candor from anyone associated with a microphone have drained the realism and left a void that’s now filled with incessant sponsor mentions and hollow wholesomeness. It feels patronizing, like a Disney version of a racing series where feuds don’t exist, everyone’s always happy, and no one says ****. Excessive pandering to the required sponsors is ruining the fun. Viewers like me are left wondering if NASCAR is a race series or just another corporate-message delivery device.

There will not be any national commercials, all the national advertising will be seen as little popups at the bottom of the screen every now and then during the race.
However, there will still be SOME local commercials. No where near as many as during other races, but there still will be a few.

When I was a lil'un, my pa teached me sumtin'. He told me "son, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is." That's the way I look at it. Sounds like a good idea, but seeing the way that TNT has run their broadcasts so far I'm more than skeptical. I don't care if there are commercials, I just don't want a lot of commercials

Why gosh dang 'plains why dem thar folk have beena showing usins a 'merrcial every 5 second nows. Pert neer shwoed us so dern many, them there tv folk could show usins 4 them races without interruptions, they have what them citified folk call bank.
