We know you don't have any idea. But just fake it.

Dems have 51% of the seats in the House.
Dems have 51% of the seats in the Senate.

Any time a bill needs to be passed, it requires Republicans to sign off on it. Dems don't blindly tow the party near as much as Republicans.

Lets use the Senate as an example because any higher numbers and I know I'd lose half of you:

There are 51 Democratic Senators.
There are 49 Republican Senators.

Unless all 51 vote the exact same way, Dems will not have enough to pass Dem sponsored legislation.

In the event they do manage to pass a bill, it then goes before Bush so he can veto it.

Once Bush gives it a veto, it is then sent back to Congress. Congress then has to vote again, and if they do not have 2/3 of the vote, they cannot override the veto.

(2/3 of the Senate would be 67 votes, so that would require at LEAST 16 Republicans to sign off on the bill)

I'm gonna post this every day until it sinks in.

Immigration to America in the 17th to 19th century was by decent, hardworking, well intentioned people, heading to America with honorable intentions to build and contribute to society. They created a workable social system with benefits to the deserving and a society of well-intentioned and decent people. But no such people come any more.

Now they come in droves, packing the major cities, causing an increase in crime, congestion, and taxes as real estate rents soar, parking is unavailable or exorbitantly high. Americans who took their entire lives to pay off their home mortgages, now find that the taxes on their homes are so high, they cant afford to live in them any more and the congestion so bad, they cant even find a place to park in front of their own homes. Many have to pack up and move out of the city, just to make ends meet, and then face the arduous daily hours of driving back and forth just to get to work and back home. That is, those that still have jobs, since as this goes on, jobs disappear, either right here where we get laid off, or the whole company moves out to a cheap labor country. And as the hordes make demands for energy needs, power needed to heat and light homes and buildings is insufficient, and cities black out, the demand for gas soars, heating prices skyrocket, and our own supply of gas becomes insufficient to meet our own needs, and we become victims of the arabs, who use the pumps to revenge our policies they don’t like.

They pile over the borders or by plane on visitor visas, preying on the good naturedness of Americans to provide a refuge for the oppressed, they connive the appearance of the downtrodden and persecuted, and then sit down comfortably and stay here, leeching off the health care system which faces bankruptcy in 20 years, the welfare system that us sucker u.s. taxpayers have to pick up the tab for, and which we spent decades to build.

Social parasites from latin america, flock here to live free on us sucker taxpayers, dragging their families and relatives in, once they get green cards and then swamping the health care system with their third world illnesses and birth defects. And the other breed of latinos – criminals of the most evil intensities terrorizing communities in which they rob and kill.

Thieves and common criminals from the countries of eastern Europe and the soviet union, hearing that there is still stuff on store shelves when stores close, that hasn’t been shoplifted or sold, come and steal, with impunity.

Mafia organizations that control Russia and the countries of the former soviet union, setting up foreign crime systems that specialize in grand larceny, weaponry, even nuclear arms materials for sale, stolen from the old soviet system, available for sale to our enemies, raking them million$.

Africans with strange ,deadly diseases walk in, causing epidemics and death to our gay citizens and to innocent people in general and swamping the health care system.

Asians with alien religious philosophies, contrary to Christian monotheism, poisoning the minds of our youth. And they come and take our jobs away here in America, while employers, enticed by cheap labor, move their companies there, leaving us unemployed,.

Terrorists walk in and go about their death tactics with ease and we shudder at what they will do to us next.

All, contributing to crime, violence, social unrest.

Finally, To add insult to this injury, our government picks up the tab for hundreds of
thousands of third world “students” to come, pack our universities tuition free at the expense of us US taxpayers ,while we Americans fall into debt to pay for our own children to get a college education.


AND WE ARE EXPECTED TO PICK UP THE TAB WORLDWIDE
FOR THEM, WHENEVER S--T HAPPENS ANYWHERE.
What kind of fools are running this country?

You're on "island A" with a wolf, a goat and cabbage... you're trying to get the wolf, the goat, and the cabbage to "island B" you have a small boat that can only fit one thing on it, a wolf, a goat, or the cabbage... you can take as many trips as you want to try to get all of them to the other island... but there's a catch... if you leave the wolf alone with the goat the goat will get eaten... if you leave the goat alone with the cabbage then the cabbage gets eaten... How can you get the wolf, the goat and the cabbage to island B?

I have just graduated from high school and am taking a year off before I continue on with post secondary. Right now I am living at home but my parents and I just don't get along. They are not here much but when they are it sucks. Besides, I do everything for myself anyway.. From cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc..

The thing is, my cousin just asked me to move out to a little apartment with her. I am working part time as of right now. I really want to, the idea is SO SO tempting but I am not sure it's the right thing to do...

If I stayed at home (which is in the boonies) I could save money for school, buy myself a car and therefore have more freedom because I can get myself from point A to point B.

If I moved in with my cousin I would be alot happier, but would have to pay bills and get my own groceries. Which would set back me getting my own car (but I would be in town walking distance from everything, and also she has a car we would be sharing)

What would you do?

I have adopted children, know little to nothing about their birth fathers (not even my son's birth father's race), and am considering enrolling them in the Genographic Project or a similar DNA databank which tracks historic migration patterns (and can at least tell us where the birth fathers' indigenous ancestors are located). I'm also interested in documenting and perhaps publishing an article on such quests, and would like to learn from others whether they found the genetic search to be meaningful and worth the money. Please include info. about which testing company you used, the reason for your search (curiousity, paternity search, etc.) and what the cost was. My best friend posted an ad on Craigslist searching for a roommate. The deal was 1/2 hourse share for $550 a month. Well, things have gotten pretty bad lately. She's only lived there for a little over two weeks now. The lady has moved a whole house-load of her things in - I am talking about floor to ceiling boxes of things. They never signed any type of agreement. The woman told my best friend that she was a dental assitant, but come to find out, she doesn't even have a steady job! She does temp work when she can get it. Beside not paying on time, she has so far accused my friend's son of having lice (his head is shaved, by the way), has gone to my friends daycare to see if she wanted to enroll her son there and blew up on the teachers there and is now texting/calling my friend several times a day saying horrible things like, " no wonder you and your husband couldn't stay together and I am not going to mother you." My friend said she has to go, but the lady won't leave. Help!

my mother-in-law works for h&r block during the tax season. although she doesn't do our taxes for us, i was wondering if she could still look at our tax information by keying in our social security numbers? my husband and i decided to hire an accountant to do our taxes because when she used to file them for us she always told everyone how much money we made for the year. also our accountant who does our taxes now, files them through h&r block as well.

Hi, i'm 16 and thinking of gettin a moped. I do not really want one but I am about to start working at a place about 3 miles away and the hours are 5:30pm to 10:30pm, 5 days a week. I am also starting college in September. But i'm 17 in 8 months and do not know whether to just wait and get a car, but if I did this I would have no way to get home everynight at 10:30 for the time being. Its quite a big purchase and can't really aford it. I also feel that if I get a moped it will slow me down in getting a car because of funds etc. Do you think I should stop worrying about the future, live for the moment and get one or wait till i'm 17. Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
