I think Alfredo di Stefano played for both Argentina and Spain. Robert Prosinecki has the distinction of scoring for two countries in two World Cups - Yugoslavia in 1990 and Croatia in 1998.

Ferenc Puskas (Hungary and Spain), Alfredo Di Stefano (Spain and Argentina) and Robert Prosinecki (Yugoslavia and Croatia - there's more players changed nationalities in these circumstances) to name 3.

Yes, Ferenc Puskás played for Hungary in 1954 and Spain in 1962. However, nowadays it's no longer possible for a player to play for another country's senior national team after winning at least one competitive cap for one country.

I just want to comment on the answer by Micky, because he don't want to get emails. I can't believe you know about Puskas. What a player he was!!! And your answer about Ronaldinho is right on the money. You must know a lot about football. Congratulations.
