I think Alfredo di Stefano played for both Argentina and Spain. Robert Prosinecki has the distinction of scoring for two countries in two World Cups - Yugoslavia in 1990 and Croatia in 1998.

In a world cup no, its no legal, some players have played at youth level for a country then at senior level at a different one tahts the closest you will get playing for to different teams. I hope that helps

one you reach 21 and you have played for a countries senior side you cant switch national teams!
