im not stupid or small minded i just like to see peoples opinion and the fact that everybody has faith...even though i got some answers that were dissapointing(agreeing with me)its crazy...how we all have faith..even to live for one more second,get in a car and not ge in a car crash,live day after day!!!!wow life is amazing..and when you think really deep it gets you really excited...oh and the hrm thing...idk i just wanted to act like a retard so i could get more answers...well thanks everybody.. :)

I'm trying to watch the finals on ABC/ESPN in high def. They've been having all kinds of glitches with the picture, half the time they use non-HD cameras so it looks all blurry, and they're not even broadcasting in 5.1 surround!! On top of all that the broadcasters have been saying some of the dumbest crap. Someone please tell me why TNT isn't covering the finals???!!!!

For example, if I have $500,000 US dollars and deposit it in an interest bearing account earning 5.0% per year, by the end of the year the interest paid into the account would be ~$25,000. If you were to take that 25K out every year, how much would you have to pay in taxes, if any? Is it based on the same tax brackets as income? Thanks for the clarification.

For example: I was riding my mare down a hill one morning. We were zig-zagging our way down when she slipped and fell. I was able to clear my leg from under her, but when we hit the ground I took a moment to catch my breath and look to see where she was. While I did that my mare stood up and promptly fell again. This time the point of her hip went into the small of my back and caused some significant kidney damage. It really hurt and sometimes still does, but I learned that when you hit the ground - for whatever reason - you get the heck out of the way because you can never be sure of what your horse will do. Other great injuries have included:
3 broken toes = steel toed shoes and horses don't mix
torsion of a testicle = whenever possible, you a saddle with no horn to teach a horse to canter.
destroyed right knee = have patience and set small goals
2 broken wrists = falling is just as much a skill as riding!
There have been a lot more, but what are some of yours?

THIS WAS THE BIGGEST WAIST OF 60MINUTES. My mood changes from hour to hour. I get angry about nothing. I have a constant fear of being alone. The thought of my husband leaving for even a night to go out of town leaves me feeling abandoned. I find myself trying to detach myself from him sometimes for the fear that he's going to end up hurting me. The least little thing he says or does that rubs me the wrong way leaves me so angry I want to hit him. I have had a problem with alchohol in the past, but have left it alone recently as I'm pregnant. When my emotions get too hard to handle I have long drawn out crying spells and the urge to injure (cut) myself and most usually follow through with it. I feel empty and isolated a lot of the time. I have difficulty keeping friends and the thought of working out in the public frightens me something awful. I have frequent panic attacks that leave me feeling like the world is spinning out of control. I was sexually abused for 10 years as a child. Should I see a therapist???

Let me just start out by saying that I am an atheist, but I mean no disrespect. I really want to know what you think, so here goes...

Here are the two sides of the paradox:

1)God is all knowing and has determined everything from the beginning. He has made everything happen the way it does for the greater good. It is not for us to understand the plan.
This doesn't sit very well with me because any plan that involves genocide, natural disasters, and rapists seems like it comes from a pretty sick mind. Also, in that case, why fight abortion? Isn't that part of the plan, too? What's the point of praying if the outcome is preset?

2)Human beings have free will. Some of them are therefor influenced by Satan. God punishes sinners with earthly suffering and hell.
Aside from the fact that this is directly opposite, there are other logical errors: If Satan has any power then how can God be all powerful? Do Satan and evil men cause hurricanes? God allows evil free reign on Earth?
