I read that after I think it was 6 weeks or 3 months that they shouldn't be swaddled anymore.

We were having that problem at 5 months, so we had to start fazing out the swaddling. We did naps first, I would swaddle just her body with her arms out, but at night would still fully swaddle her. After she got used to having her arms out during naps, we worked on nights. Now, at 6.5 months old, we don't swaddle at all any more.

my baby loved to be swaddled till but at about 6 months she would get her hand out and she would wake up alot, and i wasnt letting her cry it out either, so i would run to her like 15 times a night, my advice to you is stop swaddling her completly, she cant be swadled forever, it will be hard a few night to adjust but just let the baby cry it out, it was very hard for me by baby didnt sleep through the night till 10months but after a few night of letting her cry when she would wake up usually not any longer than 10min, she sleeps through now and its great, hope some of this helped

I would try and phase out the swaddling. I know it will be hard but otherwise you will have to keep getting up and fixing it. Good luck!!

i have the same problem with my three month old, he can't sleep unless he is swaddled. once his hands get out of the blanket he wakes himself up by rubbing his face. We had to double wrap him to help him out. so far it's working

Have you tried the miracle blanket?

I love it. The best thing ever. My son is six months and has the same issue. The miracle blanket holds his hands down and makes it difficult for him to get out of it.

try tucking a blanket over her and then under her with her arms out, or in for that matter. she's old enough to start sleeping 'her own way'. she may be more comfortable with her arms out. my two girls both sleep with a blanket, but not over them. they sleep so hot and sweat when i cover them up, and i keep my house at 70 degrees.
