He is in my grade, I am a senior in high school, about to graduate in a week and a half, and the time is ticking for me.. the wierd thing is that i've never really noticed him until now. he has been in some of my classes through out the years and ive never really spoken to him, i feel as though we are totally different and may have nothing in common at all, i talked to him a couple times this year, but they are were really meager conversations. haha. but i got a glimpse of his personality. he seems like a cool guy,Hes the loud one in class.(Im the opposite) even though he hangs with the 'preps'/popular kids and i with the 'misfits'/"losers" i have always been really quiet and reserved, its hard for me to be out there and let people know the real me? any suggestions on how i can build myself up im afraid to take the risk and be rejected. i feel like i dont want to disgrace him with my presence. i just wanna know more about him. any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I took my 05 civic to the dealer to have the charging system tested. It tested normal: 485 CCA on stock battery, 12.72V Battery voltage and 14.40V for charging system.

THEN... they left the lights on and had to jump my car when i came to pick it up. They did another test to make sure there was no damage, but came up with these results:

423 CCA
12.50 V Battery
13.48 V Charging system <--- this they say is low

The manager says it could be due to my stereo system (which was OFF the whole time). But then why did it test normal to begin with? So is this guy lying through his teeth?

In case you're wondering here's the wattage:

Alpine CDA-9856 head unit
Alpine MRP-F250 40W X 4 RMS
Alpine MRP-M450 400W X 1 RMS (only pushing a 300W sub)

Experienced mechanics and MECP's please help!

I found out that if a city has a poor economy, (Like Cleveland, Detroit, Buffalo for example), It is hard to find a good paying job even if you have a good education.

So does that mean, if a city's economy is booming, (Phoenix, Atlanta, Dallas), it's easier to find a well paying job with a poorer education?

Is that how it works?

My name is *. I am an officer in *,CA through the * office.
On March 6, 2007 at approx 5:45am, the end of shift was approaching. A new officer, ***, who was to come in and relieve my co-worker,***, showed up. This was my first time meeting him and he was speaking about his previous mployer stating "my last employer was hard to work for" He was an Okey, Red Neck, White boy", He was a Slave- Driver, a White N****r" I am a White man and my wife is Black. My wife works with his wife and happened to tell her about the opening because she knew her husband was unemployed. Just before making these comments, He got out of his car and after I introduced myself, said to me "Oh, your the one whose wife helped me get the job" His comments offended me both because I am white and because my wife and my children are Black. As I mentioned before, our wives work together. Mr. ** is well aware of the race of my wife and myself. --- by the way after this, he was promoted,,I reported this 2 months ago.

are you so hateful toward Christians, I can understand that you are passionate about your beliefs, however the worst way to try to get someone to understand them is to lash out and be hateful, Christians are just trying to do what Christ taught them to do in the Bible, and that is to go and preach the gospel to every living creature, but they do not lash out in hate. I have learned that patience and tolerance are two of the most important characteristics people can have when trying to debate their beliefs.

I'm recently divorced and I live in Iowa. I moved 300 miles across the state after the divorce was finalized. I was thinking about moving to Texas where my Aunt lives with my kids. I was being nice and was going to talk to my ex-husband about it. He than stated that he can get it where I would have to move back to my original city. Saying that his lawyer said that he could get it where I have to move back to the original school district. I don't know any of the laws in Iowa but can I be told I can't move? Or even better can it be told that I have to move back to the original city? My ex husband is a complulsive liar so I never know what to believe. He plays alot of mind games...so anyone that can help me out with any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
