I must point out that people who consider themselves reformed from anything, whether it be liberalism, smoking, drinking, religion...are the very people who seem to be the most rabid.
As far as I am concerned, there is no one group of people who deserve that "award". People are all different. There isn't any one group as a whole that can be named the most hateful.

You would! Simply for the fact that you are trying to categorise behaviour and by so doing attach credibility to people who should simply be ignored for upholding anti-social and anachronistic viewpoints. (You sink to their level)
Society has moved on since the likes of the KKK and Hitler, the thoughts and deeds of these people are stuck in a time warp. By ascribing any metric to their intolerant, misguided and hate-filled agendas, you infer that they possess some merits; whereas ignoring them entirely starves them of the oxygen of publicity.
