It's a gorgeous late afternoon in my part of the Ozarks. Not too hot and not too humid. Farmers were busy in their fields, mostly tending livestock or baling hay. I was grooving to Smashmouth on the CD player.
My county's seat, Salem is gearing up for their annual Hometown Weekend. I happened to spot a funnel cake vendor parked outside the courthouse square. Hopefully there's a fresh, warm funnel cake somewhere in the course of my errands when I go back into Salem tomorrow.

Good question.
I had 1 hours work to do 80 miles away.
The M6 in England is a bit harsh at times and it took 2.5 hours to get there.
Guess what?
The lady I went to see took the day off!!
So, went home a different way, back roads, using my Tom Tom as guidance.
What a mistake, the damn thing does not tell you that roads go from 2 lanes to 1 over the brow of a hill, or only the left lane at a roundabout goes the way you want.
$hit, I pi$$ed of so many people.
Still, it was fun xx

I don't get out alot. Yesterday, I decided to take everyone for a walk under the sun to the park. My infant son, Donny rode in the stroller while my 5 year old daughter,Sarena rode her bicycle. The woods smelled so heady. Donny kept wanting to get out of the stroller and ride his pushcar. Sarena couldn't stop riding in the middle of the road and I had to keep yelling at her to stop. There wasn't enough room for her to ride beside me. She liked being in front anyway. I kept taking wrong turns and Sarena was worried that we wouldn't make it. Finally, we made it. She got to play with one of her school friends there at the park and then she got to ride awhile with another friend on the way home. Then she ran into another friend at the store we stopped at. It made the whole trip worth it. Great stress reliever even with all the problems we had along the way. And it killed time too. I felt like I was getting a load off of my mind without even talking. It felt really good when we got in the shade and a breeze came through to cool me at the same time. I'll probably have an easier time of it next time.

I just moved out of my student house in Manchester back to Watford! My dad picked me up in a hired Transit van and we first had to load up the van which was pretty hard work so I was tired on the journey. I slept a little and we listed to Radio 1 and Radio 4. I noticed the sheep and cows in the fields and a van that said Bob Savage but I'd just woken up when I saw it and I thought it said "Boob Salvage"!! I felt relieved to have finally left my dirty student house but also a bit sad cos I had to say goodbye to a lot of friends- I will see them in July for graduation though. It also felt very weird cos now the degree is over but I also felt excited cos in two weeks I'm moving to Germany and I really can't wait! =)

Well, first of all, thank you for asking. Today, being Friday, I was very tired from the whole week. I had many errants to run but found somehow time, to go out for lunch with a dear friend. I had a little "dispute" with my hubby, and stayed grumpy for most of the afternoon but now, my dear friend, after "multitasking" the whole day, I will open the bottle of wine and smile!! Do you care for a glass???

I traveled home in my car. I noticed a woman at the side of the road. I felt comfortable and happy.
