What is your opinion of this fatwa, backed by over 120 islamic groups?

"Islam strictly condemns religious extremism and the use of violence against innocent lives. There is no justification in Islam for extremism or terrorism.

Targeting civilians' life and property through suicide bombings or any other method of attack is haram – or forbidden - and those who commit these barbaric acts are criminals, not 'martyrs'. In the light of the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah we clearly and strongly state: 1. All acts of terrorism targeting civilians are haram (forbidden) in Islam. 2. It is haram for a Muslim to cooperate with any individual or group that is involved in any act of terrorism or violence. 3. It is the civic and religious duty of Muslims to cooperate with law enforcement authorities to protect the lives of all civilians. We issue this fatwa following the guidance of our scripture, the Qur'an, and the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad - peace be upon him."

A Christian who believes in Christ, but swaggers with an air of self importance, or a Heathen who does not believe in Christ, but is humble and kind?

I've noticed a lot of Christians on this site with a sense of entitlement to pride, but a religion has to be joking when these kind of people are chosen over actually kind and humane people...

I'm a guy, I have hairy chests wich can be a nuesance sometimes. I like having some hair on my chest, but not as much. I was thinking of doing a LHR treatment, cause I heard that it doesnt take out all the hair from the first time, so I'm fine with just the remaining 20% or whatever, Has anyone done this befor? any ideas?

If you deny that then you deny all that your faith is based on as from my understanding Chrisitianity is based on the Old Testament Prophets and Jesus referred back to them continually.

There are lots of people (anti-Mormons, ex-Mormons, Christians, Atheists, Agnostics, etc) on here that spend lots of time and energy talking about what Mormons do or don't believe and why you shouldn't listen to Mormons, read the book of Mormon, etc.

What I'm interested in knowing is this:

What is it that you actually believe and teach??? (so leave out anything regarding the mormons).

Good example: My belief is that Christ is my savior.
Bad example: My believe is that Buddha is NOT my savior.

(I realize that this will be very hard for you to do without bashing Mormons, but please exhibit your intelligence and try)
I understand that you think "Joe Smith" was a phony, that you don't think we believe in "your Jesus", that the Book of Mormon is a counterfeit, etc, etc, etc. Please don't post that here. We can read it anywhere.

What is it that you actually believe???

(And again...no bashing on this post...lets see if you can do it)

I work in the oil field and I am gone 7 days on, and 7 days off....my wife is still in school. She told me about a month after it happened that she was rapped while in a womens restroom, the man was stopped before it went to full completion, but I am having some strong feelings of wishing I could of did something different to help her....or be there in some way? I try not to bring it up to my wife, for fear of makeing her fall into a depression. I was wondering if there was anyway I can overcome it myself, I have heard that forgivness is the best way but how do I forgive someone that took that away from my wife and I? Anyone that has similar cirrcumstances please leave an answer, I would like to know EVERYONE'S input. I also was wondering, should I get her tested for STD'S? We have had intercourse since that has happened, so should we know?

I'm talking good and bad. The checks and balances system ensures that our president does NOT have as much control over issues as we pretend he does. Does the president get blamed for everything in this country, good and bad? Is that fair, or is that just his role as president?

I am 17 and my bf is 18 and he invited me (really wants me to go) to his uncles wedding. Their is a ceremony and a meal..and i guess they will pay for my fancy meal. We are going with my bf parents and family and i was wondering if i am supposed to bring a present. My daughter has a homework question. It shows a small picture of a pelican at one twenty-seventh of its actual size.

The question asks: How many centimetres long is the pelicans beak?

(a) 2.1
(b) 21
(c) 57
(d) 570

On a ruler it measures 1.5cms.

We think its probably (c) 57cms but don't know how to work it out.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated!

Christian's say Adam a Christ, Muslim a Muslim without parents. If Jesus is God's Son, then why not Adam considered.
