Anyone both seen the movie and followed the tv series?

I live 90 miles from the school the movie was about and my high school (i was in the 9th grade at that time), was in the playoffs (last year they were in for several years).

the tv show seemed to follow the same story line for the season: a coach that no one knows if they can trust, a hurt major player from the beggining, players with various problems they face on and off the field.

What do you think of the two?

First of all the regular season matters in college football so maintain that importance with the playoff format. The field consists simply of the Four Highest Ranked Conference Champions with one exception. If either Notre Dame or a minor conference team like Boise State or Utah is ranked higher than one of the four conference champions then they earn that spot instead. If you don't win your conference then you don't belong in the playoffs for a National Championship, end of story!

This in no way changes the value of the regular season for what it is right now under the BCS. Besides the biggest flaw with college football, despite being the greatest sport in the world, is the schedules are so unbalanced that you cannot accurately compare teams from different conferences. Every year the Pac-10 is better than it's stereotype and the SEC and Big 10 are not as untouchable as their stereotype.

Decide it on the field with a FOUR team only playoff!

LOOK, i know people dont like jehovahs witnesses. and i personally dont care why. BUT what i do want to know is why people slander their name. i could talk about how some baptists bring snakes into the church for worship, how some "christians" are gay, and how catholic priest molest young boys but i dont. i respect their teachings and try not to stir up too much controversy. in fact im friends with many people who arent jehovah's witnesses. i may think their religion is wierd, but i dont focus on that. i try to focus on the person themselves. why do some hypocrites on this site fail to do the same?

I used SAS and performed a t-test. The t-value for unequal variances is -3.21. I've never seen a negative t-value before in class. Is this possible or did I enter an error in SAS?

Simply put, if a valid argument for God would be that life on earth needs a purpose, what is the purpose of the rest of the universe?... Did an omniscient being decide to create a billion trillion trillion trillion trillion stars like our own just to look pretty?... If we're really so important to be created in the image of a supreme being, why make a universe compared to which we're incredibly insignificant?
