Something to consider. Read the Q&A in R&S from the "other" point of view; I too hope that everyone finds that same "joy and peace" but what gets people in such a swivet is that it sounds so "them" and "us."
My sister is agnostic and I try to look at these Q&A from her POV---what would help capture her heart? Very little, from what I read. I don't think people really care what you believe until you love them...
Hard to show that love to strangers over the internet.
Your suggestion about prayer is the only thing that will change anything. (But, as you have seen...it pisses people off!......which is better than indifference or neutrality I suppose ;< )
