Fighting terrorists who wish to force destruction upon the west and America, yes. Invading nations that POSE NO THREAT to America, no. We should be manly, admit the mistake, and MOVE ON! Sabre rattling is just wasted energy.

The book clubs, like Doubleday, where you get 6 for 20 cents a piece then commit to buying 4 books in 2 years? I have heard the books are different quality than those at the store, not sure if that is true though. If you are a member can you tell if you like it or would never do it again? I'd appreciate any feedback about these clubs.

At the end of the American War of Independence, I know that Britain provisionally recognised the independence of the USA as part of the Preliminary Articles of Peace which were signed 30 November 1782 and ratified by congress 15 April 1783. I do not know if this formed part of the final Peace Treaty of Versailles, or whether it was a separate agreement. Were the Preliminary Articles, a preliminary part of the Treaty of Versailles, or were they entirely separate, coming before the main treaty? Also, did the main Peace Treaty of Versailles serve to finalise the Preliminary Articles, thus meaning that American Independence would be dated from the date of those Preliminary Articles: 30 November 1782?

I lived in Romania, Germany and France and have met people from all over the globe, but Dutch people are just not my cup of tea; I especially refer to the south of Holland - Limburg area where I met the most rude people in my life: impollite, arrogant and incredibly selfish! I understand one shouldn't categorize but I seriously do see a huge difference in the way people treat eachother just over the border in germany or Belgium.

Ok, this is personal opinion, but I think there are worst things in the food industry than trans fats. I mean, they've been in existence for a long time, and I commend those people that made the food industry put labels about trans fats and made the public aware of trans fats. But doesn't the public know about the basic dangers like refined sugar, aspartame, RBGH in the milk supply, and other health risks? What do you think? thanks for your opinions.

A scientific hypothesis is NOT like a sporting event where the team with the greatest number of points wins.

Are you aware that even ONE observation or experiment , ONE proof against a hypothesis , ONE proof that can not be denied is enough evidence to DISCARD THE HYPOTHESIS???

And guess what people? The Lipid Hypothesis is filled with observations AND experiments that contradict it

I asked a question earlier about how if God exists, then he is part of existence, otherwise known as the cosmos (as Carl Sagan discribed, "allthat ever was, is and will be", and should therefore be able to be somehow discribed through physics.

I got all these answers back saying that God is seperate from the universe.

The cosmos isn't bound to the universe. For all we know, our universe maybe one of many as our galaxy is one of many. String theory would suggest there is much beyond our basic comprehension at this time, as does the theory of vacoum fluctuations.

If it exists, ever has done, or ever will, it is part of the cosmos.

If God exists, he is therefore a part of this.

Why do christians feel it's so important to deny something so obvious and straight forward?
