I have to say my 3 sons to, we are living in an age / time, when people focus too much on their own self gratification. You know, I am the best at this, or the best at that, name me 5 summer Olympic winners from 10 years ago, I am sure some runners & swimmers etc. know, but most of us don't.
Parents who focus only on their careers, and allow their children free run, get to regret at a later date. You cannot get back the time you have lost with your children.

I have had children & delivered many, so the pride is there but the luster is lacking. I have had many accomplishments & awards over the years, but the one that stands out most is the homerun I hit off Dizzy Dooley in American Legion ball in Wash., D.C.. Dizz was a really good pitcher. He got his name because he wouldn't look at you until just before he released the ball. He had good control, however. His first two pitches were at my head & I hit the dirt. I knew he was just trying to intimidate me, so I knew the next pitch was going to be right down Broadway. It was - I hit it - long gone. To get knocked down twice, then hit a homerun off Dizz - was the stuff legends & memories are made of.

I donate blood at least 3 times a year so may have saved someone's life at some point (and have done this about 8 times now). To me that is a great achievement.

My greatest achievement would have to be my accomplishment in completing my apprentiship as a Chef, that or my previous Diploma in Cartooning, I'm only 20 years old so I have a long way to go until I reach my ultimate goals,
My girlfriend recently miscarriaged our child :( that would of been my best achievement.

Definately my kids too. I dont' think I would have got through this life without them. They are my whole world and even though my son wasn't speaking to me when he left for school this morning I am so looking forward to seeing him when he gets back home. They are kinda old fashioned children show a lot of respect for people and that makes me proud to be their mum. To think I've done something right!

I have singlehandedly ended World War II, I was involved in the committee that invented the wheel and I'm the one who discovered cheese in spraycans.
You decide which is the greatest achievement.

I'd have to say meeting my husband and having our beautiful baby boy. He's only 14 months but nothing can compare to it.
