I want that girl to not be allowed to eat for her stupidity in going on a hunger strike till he leaves the show. I do feel that he made the top 24 because of the judges and votefortheworst.com wasn't originally voting for him... they were for that Antonella girl and another guy, who both were voted off.
I thought Sanjaya did well in his auditions, but I agree with Paula that he needs to step it up. If he can do that, I think he should stay. But if he can't do that, then he should probably go.

I put an AI question up yesterday and everyone agrees. The problem is the show is losing it. I was a big fan all these years and this year I tend to turn it off -- I'm fed up. Sanjaya shouldn't be on there at all. The little girls like him (obviously) -- so that's where the votes are coming from -- has nothing to do with talent anymore. Personally, up until the last performance Chris did -- I thought he was going to make it. He is definitely better than Sanjaya.

I agree, but this question is asked soooo much I'm getting tired of it. The reasons Sanjaya is still there are many, and his "talent" has nothing to do with it. Votefortheworst.com has a lot to do with it, as does Howard Stern and all his fans, as he urges everyone to vote for him. Also it's rumored that Simon will quit if Sanjaya wins so now everyone is voting for him. Another reason is because the producers of the show know that everyone tunes in to see how horrible Sanjaya is and he is good for the ratings. Lots of reasons. The whole thing has turned into a farce and I'm getting tired of watching the show because of all the Sanjaya drama. Which is sad because I USED to enjoy American Idol.

I didn't care one way or another...until chris got voted off and sanjaya was safe, then I got a little salty about it. But he'll make it all the way to the end, because he's featured on www.votefortheworst.com. Everyone is voting for him, because he sucks!

He can go.....straight to a big record deal. He has proven to the record labels that he, much like a lot of low talent folks can still sell millions of Cd's just off of his charisma to the little young girls, who by the way are the ones spending their parents money buying the crap. He does not need Idol now, he is already set up. I'll say he'll be gone soon. But he's cute and harmless, a winning combo for young girls and their parents.

I don't care who wins American Idol this year as long as it isn't Melinda Doolittle. I'd rather watch Sanjaya perform than her. I don't like her at all. I think she has a horrible singing voice. She's so fake all the time. I turn the channel when it is her turn to sing. I can't stand to watch her.

He does look a little Lief Garretson-like, doesn't he? I've not heard him sing, since I don't do the AI thing, but he is just everywhere. I think he's eclipsed Anna Nicole Smith and Dannielynn. For which I am grateful.

Nope. That freakshow is disrupting that stupid show. The idea of millions of voters screwing with the judges is far more entertaining than some lame karaoke contest.
The fact that the idiot hunger-striker has to keep on going another week only makes it funnier. Just give up and have a cheeseburger ...

i'd have to say that he is the gayest thing ever....he should not be allowed in america let alone on american idol. he's the stupidest thing i've ever seen and should just go crawl under a rock and stay there for the rest of his ugly pathetic little life
