There this guy I like alot and we're great friends and can talk about anything and everything, we even live next door to each other, anyways, his girlfriend of 4 years died 3 years ago, he hasnt dated anyone else since and is still very upset daily over it,...he gives signs that hes interested in me like that, but i think he feels almost guilty, its like we both like each other but his gf is preventing us both from pursuing anything (she really was a great fantastic woman, I only knew her in passing, but from what he says..wow..she was great) Anyways, should i pursue it w/ him? I mean its been 3 years, right?..or is that being completely insensitive? I dont think he'll ever pursue it, because he still feels he has to be loyal to her ( and i completely understand that)..but hes 24, he has to move on, right? Its like 1/2 of him wants to move on and the other 1/2 feels like if he moves on then shes really gone.

I'm a 29 year-old non-smoker w/a spotless family medical history - not even high bp for my 65 year-old-dad. I recently applied for life insurance and was surprised when I was rated in two risk categories higher than normal. The results from my lab work were normal. I am pregnant but was told by my agent that this is not affecting my rating. We plan to review the policy/shop around a few months after the baby is born and my body is back to normal just to be sure. But I am concerned: will this higher rating now permanently affect my ability to get competitively-priced insurance later? Anything I can do about it? What else in my medical history/charts might be contributing to the higher morbidity rating (besides pregnancy)? Anything I can do about that? My agent, who's known me and my family for years, is also surprised but isn't sympathetic. I did a little research and found that I do have the right to an explanation in writing. Will requesting it send up more red flags?

My husband and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary and want to go somewhere different. We have been considering a cruise to Alaska the end of May. We have never been on a cruise, & we have only been to Mexico (cancun & cozumel) and Costa Rica. We are in our mid-twenties and like to see nature & different cultures. We aren't partiers so we don't want to be on a party boat but we don't want to hang out with a bunch of retirees either. We like to get out and see what different places have to offer and we like a bit of adventure. We don't mind dressing up occasionally but we'd rather not have to all of the time. Is a cruise right for us? Which cruiseline would be best? Would they herd us like cattle or could we do our own thing? I've also noticed that all of the cruises have different iteneraries (ie northbound, southbound, roundtrip). Which is best? Are there any shore excursions or places we should definitely visit? We don't eat seafood, by the way. Thanks!

I've been a fan of Britney for years, like since I ws 12. That was 9 years ago. Even though I wouldn't admit it, I've followed all her media frenzy and changes. I just think the poor girl got pushed too far. I'll always be a fan, and I hope she gets better and is a good mother for her 2 babies. I've been through some of what she has, and I can't even imagine how hard it would be if I was under a microscope, constantly being followed and scrutinized. Broken hearts can happen to anyone. She just happened to be in the spotlight with unlimited resources to booze and other self-destructive stuff. So instead of making fun and tearing her down more, just shut up it you dont have anything nice to say!

Just asked if I'd like to do a 3 mile charity run.

I told him no thank you.

He then told me it was for mentally handicapped children.

I thought why not, I might actually win.

Do you cry at funerals, or do you celebrate, that your friend, relation is going on to a better place? if you were dying Of cancer would you consider euthinasia, does god encourage suffering? If you knew you were going on to a better place, why do you live life???

it is possible to increase your chances of getting killed, without actually killing yourself ( what a clever little ditty to add on to any religion!)
what are your thoughts????
