is there something different from dutch poeple and people from other countries? execpt for the obviou, which is that they're from holland.

I think you mean differences in characters and so.
In the Netherlands I can say a lot of people live a fast and stressfull live. If you compare Dutch people with people from Spain, Italy and so, I think we are the less relaxing. I am not sure whether we are more direct in saying things than people from other countries.
but if you mean, especially typical behaviour of the Dutch people, I am sorry, I can't tell you. I think everybody is different, and whether you look at Dutch people or other people, I don't think you can say we have something typical.

Dutch people are remarkably curious. They don't draw the curtains on their windows and the official explanation is that if you draw the blinds, then you have something to hide, but I suspect that they really enjoy looking out at passers by. They love to have flowers in their front windows, which makes the passer by want to look back! They are very blunt and forthright, which I find refreshing. They are famous for their tolerance and also for their frugality. People in neighbouring countries complain that the Dutch like to travel in caravans or with camping equipment bringing nearly all their food from home, instead of going to local restaurants. Well, why not?

At least in Amsterdam, they are very friendly and very polite and very fluent in English. And yes, it is true with their caravans, or at least so say the Germans (who dislike them, maybe due to football reasons).
In any case, they are open minded and tolerant - and rather good looking !

They are definetely not like people in other places.They have different customs and different tribes within the provinces.
Frisians even speak their own language.

We got Dutch here in the US and we can't stand them. The saying goes, "If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much." The company I use to work for everyone of the management was Van-something.....all non-Dutch were never promoted.
