shes 10 months and will be about 13 months when we go away for a long weekend in this country(uk) not abroad will this upset her routine or will she be old enough to understand bed time ect she is a good sleeper at home 7pm till 8am i don't want to upset her am i worrying to much

Im am 34 and an IT Manager in the UK for a medium sized law firm.The law firm is based in Kent 40 miles outside London.I have been in the job for 8 years and am successful. However im finding it impossible to move up to my next job. I have had interviews for the position of IT manager with a couple of US lawfirms with London offices and have got to second interview but no further. The reason cited for my not getting any further is usually that i haven't worked in the London arena before.This is v frustrating as i know i could do the job standing on my head. Another possible problem is that i dont have a degree although i do have a few MCP (microsoft certified professional) qualifications to my name and 8 years on the job. I run a team of four in my current role and I work out the IT strategy for the year and run all the systems - build all the servers and pc's and basically am the systems guru.I just wish i could be given a chance.I find recruitment consultants promise the earth....

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, I managed to blow my stock d15, threw a rod right through the block. Now I'm replacing it with a d16 pulled from a wrecked Accord or something, the point is when the guy pulled the engine he just used a cutting torch to get rid of everything so the distributor got messed up as well as the timing chain/belt/whatever cover. I've already swapped out the timing cover, and I'll have to swap out the distributor from the old engine as well. I'm just wondering how you would go about timing it? I'm familiar with timing on small block chevy engines, so any similarities you can point out would be greatly appreciated.
