Everyone has a purpose in life. Your life purpose is something that makes your heart sing. What is your passion? If you have trouble finding it, it may be because you are feeding your passion with crumps and wasting you life energy on things that are not so important to you.
Life purpose can be big or small. It can either be some grand plan to save the world or an artist painting a beautiful piece of art that graces someone house or a gardener hard at work so others have fresh flowers brightening up their home.
anything baby. Your life purpose is life a blank piece of canvas and it is YOU who choose to put anything on it.

And what may I ask is the problem of searching? Why must there be a purpose? And if there is what is more noble than spending a lifetime in search of it?
People with questions will seek answers. Those that have the answers actually worry me.
Perhaps therein lies the purpose. The search for answers IS a purpose.

When I was a kid, I could have sworn I was meant to lead a life saving animals or at least be a vet.. I never got good enough in Science..
Then I thought I really wanted to help the less fortunate and devote my life to helping people in impoverished countries around the world.. But I never got the chance to leave..
Then I saw a 2week old baby who needed a home and I gave him that home. He is now 6 years old and I am totally crazy about him. It hasn't been easy but I cannot imagine living alone in the jungles or spending years in a 3rd world country anymore.
If you always listen to your heart and allow Life to help you out, you will find what it is you are meant to do.. It is always safer and easier to say "Oh no.. not me" and turn a blind eye.. But situations will come when you know what is the right thing for you to do..
We can't all be movie stars or Nobel prize winners but for the few people we manage to touch, it means a whole lot..
Good luck to us all..

There is no purpose to life but that which we give it.
It's not predetermined, you just have to find what you enjoy and gives you the satisfaction you have made a difference; no matter how large or small. We are all just cogs of a larger machine, all we have to do is turn, the machine will handle the rest.

I didn't find the purpose in this life.
I CREATED IT.
"KNOW THY SELF" a very old saying, It was on the top of the APOLLON'S temple gate at DELPHI.
Knowing "Thyself" you learn peace by piece what exactly you want and therefore you can build your pathway towards these "wants".
Remember that nothing in life is given for free... You have to earn it.
Arm yourself with patience and persistance and go out and get the life you want.

I was out in my boat 2 summers ago, sombody had an accident, I tried to assist but, it was too severe, (Broken bones etc), I notified the Coast Guard, they showed up quickly, the injuries were so bad that the CG needed ME for assistance (my boat was lower to the water than theirs to get the backboard on it), we loaded the patient onto my boat, they said "Get to the dock the fastest way you can, we'll follow you, an ambulance will be waiting", I said "O.K", and nailed the throttles full blast, I took every short cut through the tidal flats that I knew, through creeks with only 3' of water in them, and were hardly on the chart, we got there in about 2 minutes, compared to the 15 min. it would have normally taken to get to the dock. Patient was loaded into the ambulance, and lived, the Coast Guard contacted me a few days later and asked how I did that, i said "I know the west end bays of Long Island like the back of my hand, I grew up here, it's my back yard", they said "Our Aux. program could use someone like you", I said "Where do i sign", I am now a USCG aux. crew member, and go out on patrols with them, looking for trouble, they usually put me at the Helm, I showed them some "Sneaky Peaky" ways through the grass lands at high tide, my local knowlage comes in handy, when the radio crackles they look at me and say "Where is that, YOU DRIVE", it's faster than looking it up on the chart.

nobody has a real purpose in life
they just say that it is
all people that say that do what they love to do and that is what they say is their purpose.
as long as you do what you love and have some fun in life, that is your purpose. don't do what the crowd does, don't fall in line with everyone else, do something crazy because what is the worst that can happen? you get grounded?

I had the same problem.Your purpose in life is to awake to your unity with God in unconditional love within your heart. Once you experience this unconditional love, your supreme duty in life is to express that love. You are a hueman, a being of light, Spirit, unconditional love, the life of the body. As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight, so to are we all contained within the light of Gods unconditional love. If you want help, pray for a teacher,(guru). See syda.org/theguru, swami chidvilasananda is a saint with the power of God to baptize in spirit(give shaktipat). she is a siddha yoga guru. jesus was a siddha yoga guru. they teach the same truth. she has more clarity and available to answer questions. meditation centers all over the world. Nothing to join but God within your heart. She will set you free.

It was far simpler than I ever imagined.
So simple that I looked right past it for the first 45 years of my life.
Try asking.
