Mollies tend to like nibbling on algae, dead fish, water plants and even mulm (which they skim from the surface of the water with their flat mouths).. He may already be getting food from another source. Just watch him for a few days, fish can go for a few days without ill-effect. If he's swimming around and behaving normally, you have nothing to worried about. For all you know, someone else in the house has been feeding him when you are not around. Good luck!

First, I would say Mollie's do not eat pellets and then you are probably overfeeding. It seems you only have one fish-fish only eat once a day for about five minutes for that size. The rest of the food is falling to bottom and hopefully most is going into your filter. The fish is feeding on the the residue.Do not feed pellets, use flakes and feed once daily and then only a very small pinch of flakes.

Mollies can sometimes be 'finicky' eaters----you need to go to the biggest aquarium shop in your area and shop for 'interesting' foods------live brine if available otherwise freeze-dried brine shrimp-----and you will also discover other enticing foods for them-----they usually don't stay finicky forever so pamper them a bit.
