I'm trying to improve my strategies for competition. I do more training in Judo then Jujitsu. Because I do cross train and have good strength, when I do Judo a majority of the time my ground work is better than my opponent. If I want to make sure a judo match goes to the ground which throw do you recommend that if unsuccessful still have a high chance of ending up on the ground? How can you play Judo with the strategy to take the match to the ground? I know Royce Gracie has done very well in Judo tournaments so he must have a method to take it to the ground.

Now on the other side my throws are better than alot of jujitsu guys. When I enter a jujitsu tournament if I have an advantage in takedowns is it a bad strategy to secure the takedown and then stand right back up and keep doing it to build a point lead?

Any other observations on the takedown / ground game strategies as they relate to Judo or Jujitsu?

I would like to purchase some baby chickens this spring when it warms up. I have never owned chickens before, so I was wondering if anyone could give me any care tips or anything else. I've done my research, but does anyone have their own opinion on what breeds of chickens are the best layers, or breeds that have a good temprament, or both. Just give me your opinion, anything will help.

I have a 2 year old son that I have custody of he went to visit his father and now his father has temp custody of him how is that possiable and why was I not told about this? I have to go to court in michigan to get custody of my son how is it that his father can do this with out the courts saying anything to me? Please help me

im getting a yorkie in near future. i have never owned a dog at all so i think getting all the knowledge 1st is a smart way to go as a dog owner. i live in a apt and spending time to train and take care of it will not be a prob. cause i work from home. with this said i was given a example training schedule to go by can you please let me know if it is a good on for me or not thanks alot :)
7am>take pup outside
7:15-7:30am>kitchen playtime
7:30>feed time(allow 15-20 min for feed time)
8am>take pup out to potty then confine pup in crate as i go about my day.
12pm>take pup out
12-12:15pm>kitchen play time
12:15pm>feed and water
12:45pm>take pup out
1pm>confine to crate
5:30-6pm>take pup out
6:15-6:45pm>kitchen play time
6:45pm>feed and water
7pm>take pup out
7-9pm>supervised exploration (not sure what that means)
9pm>take pup out
9:15pm>confine in crate
9:30-10pm>kitchen play time
10:15pm>confine to crate
11pm>take pup out confine to crate overnight

My big brother finally comes home from Iraq at the end of the week. He will be here for only 2 weeks. I want to tell him in just the right way that I am engaged. But I am having trouble deciding how to tell him this monumental news. Can anyone shed some light on how to do it.

Who's to say Jesus hasn't already returned, and yet the people!, so blinded were they by their dogmas and vain imaginings, didn't recognise the spiritual truth of His return?
The Jews called Jesus a liar, and a fraud, because behold he is but a man! He is not the mighty king and warrior - he has no flaming chariot nor does he conquer the earth. He is but a man, or seems like one.

So too with God and Jesus' return today? What of the return of the Buddha, or the 10th Avatar? We have seen so much devastation in the 20th century... who's to say God hasn't already renewed His message? Where did the concepts like Feminism and Global Unity come from? Did they just appear and reform our society in the 19th century? Or was it God? But was His mark then left, and himself rejected? It wasn't what people expected so they scoffed and went back to their own beliefs, so blind were they?
Who's to say we aren't blinded by the outward "truth", which confuses us with the inward truth?

I am a Office Manager for a small company, recently we have grown from 8-10 employees to 26. How do I get more knowledge on what I have to do and things that will help me get through the day and actually finish a project? I love my job but I have only been doing it for 1 year and I know I have so much more to learn. Any sugguestions on how or where to go? I am really good at creating ideas but because I am so young its hard to impliment them because I am 1/3 the age the men are that I am trying to help "manage".

I've been doing weight watchers with some friends for a few weeks now. The first week I was using as few points as I could while still maintaining a 'full' feeling.I lost 5 lbs the first week. I was told that people actually lose more weight when they are eating close to their full point allowence, within 5 points.I was wondering if this is true. I gained back 2 of the 5 lbs during the second week. I have used only a few of my flex points for the week.any advice?
