In the workplace I knew this nasty woman for years but she found a nice hubby, and they quit that job, and kept to themselves for years (a happy private couple) in a city far, far away. Ten or fifteen years passed. Her hubby just died. He was nice so that's sad. I'm kind of a private person but have developed a group of close friends I adore, and we are all close and have stuff in common. Somehow she got my e-mail and has started sending me long detailed messages about her life (two or three a day) and her sister (who I don't know) got sick and she keeps sending huge messages. Tending to her sister, she even gave my e-mail address to some other person I don't know so they could keep me posted of her life. I am really a very nice person, but I never liked her---she is eogcentric and burns people out. I don't want to be friends with her. Hasn't she made her own friends after all of these years? I would never choose her as a friend. Do I ignore those messages? Any suggestions?

I have had hypothyroidism for 8 years, I have been on synthroid for all but 3 months ago. I wondered if my 3 miscarriages, and 2 premature babies could be as a result from synthroid. I feel much better on Armour, I have ovulated ever since I switched over, and my temps are higher. Before I switched over I rarely ovulated, and I am trying to get pregnant. I was just wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences on synthroid(levoxyl). I am worried about another miscarriage, or preemie, when I do get pregnant again. Any help?

I have a two family apartment. The second floor is heated by a ventless gas heater. The people on the first floor, who use a steam furnace believe their high heat bill is because the heat is rising through the floors. The second floor is wall to wall carpeted and the first floor has drop ceilings. Is this really making a big difference to the first floor heating bills.

If Jesus is the only way to salvation, what about the countless number of people who never knew anything about the name or concept of Christ? I am referring to the people of the world who lived during the approximately 8000 years of our history that preceeded the birth of Christ some 2000 years ago. Or also the native peoples indigenous to the Americas who never knew the name Christ until roughly 500 years back when the white man arrived and massacred them in the name of Christ. Am I to believe that this overwhelmingly large number of people never had even the slightest chance of attaining salvation or enlightenment, no possibility to achieve and earn some sort of heavenly afterlife or spiritual rest? That seems pretty unfair to me.
