glock 19

2007-02-04 01:45:54 · answer #1 · answered by drew 2 · 1 0

I have 3 Glocks, a 20, 23, and a 29. As for which is best it depends on what you want it for. I prefer the 10mm models 20 and 29 because of the power. The 10mm is in a league by itself.
The 20 is full size and mine is a little more accurate than my 29, so I carry the 20 when I'm driving in case some fool tries to rob me. Showed it to 2 fools who tried to rob me once and they ran away, thank God and Glock. Where I live there are mountain lions and bears, and the 29 fits in my pocket better than the 20 so I carry the 29 when I'm outside in case a lion tries something stupid.
All Glocks are dependable, and if you are more concerned with target shooting instead of security, get a 17 or 19 because the bullets for them are cheap. I reload my own bullets, so my 10mm rounds are as cheap as factory 9mm bullets and far more powerful.
Bottom line is any Glock you get is a great pistol.

Allot has to do with the size of your hand/palm, go to your local gun shop or gun show (my choice) and pick up a couple of those Glock's to feel what's comfortable in your hand.
I own 3 Glock's all of witch fire the 40S&W, 2-G35s and a G23, my next purchase will be a G22. The rounds at the range and on the job are Federal Preimums 155gr. Hydra shock.

More Law Enforcements agencies around the Globe carry the Glock's in the 40 Cal.

I have a Glock 22 with a streamlight tac light on it. Great gun, it is a 40 cal and is both accurate and fits my hand, but I have large hands. I am a cop and carry it as my duty weapon. I also have a Glock 23, as a back up, same round, same exact system...just about 2/3rds of an inch smaller. Better concealment for carry and I actually shoot slightly better with it. It also will take the 22's mags in a pinch. I deffinantly love the 40 cal round, best of both worlds, more power then the 9mm but more control then the 45.

They're all good and basically the same except for caliber n size. I like the Model 20 in .10mm but the best all around Glock is probably the Model 19 in .9mm.

Best,

I am issued a 22 and compete with a 35 and carry a 19, if you need to conceal it, you'll want a 19,23 sized gun or smaller and once you get down to the micro sized 26,27's Id stick with the 9mm simply do to the lower recoil, and price of ammo, nothing wrong with the 357 Sig but they can be hard to find and always priced higher than they should be.

that all depends on you and how conferable you are with what caliber i like a glock but you better be a good pistol man because the safety is your finger i carry mine all the time loaded but i have years of training behind me and i know that gun its going off unless i pull the trigger so it all up to you mine is the model 21 45 acp on a side note i reload my own ammo and i mistakenly put way to much powder in a load twice the amount needed i shot it and it blew up the mag and left my hand numb for hours but the gun itself was fine i still shoot it today so if any one tell you its a plastic gun you tell them my story

Id go with either the 17 or the 19. The original chambering is usually the ideal model to have.
