Hi there again... Bengal cats are very hyperactive cats and should be an indoor-only cat since they are very attractive and likely to be stolen. Although Bengal cats are beautiful and affectionate cats they are not lap cats nor care to be held, however there are a small few who are the exception to the rule. Most Bengals are very vocally loud demanding of their owners attention and need plenty of play time so having another cat or dog is ideal to give Bengals a companion while you are away. One of the most important issues to especially note for anyone who prefers to have a declawed cat that Bengals should NEVER be declawed because nearlly all develop extremely vicious biting tendencies and often times inappropriate urinating habits so trimming their nails weekly is best to avoid emotional trauma from declaw. All ethical Bengal breeders will take their cats back if at any time an owner is unable to keep their cats and there are many Bengal rescues who work will help take Bengal cats and find homes for them as well.

Bengal cats sell on average around $650-$3000 (even higher for show/breed quality)

Egyptian Mau's pedigree sell anywhere between $500-1500 (higher for show/breeding quality). They are very beautiful cats and everyone that I have met who owns one loves their Mau and say they are worth every penny and they are not as difficult as a Bengal cat in terms of temperament, but more accepting of affection.
