I have recently started a new job as a warehousing assistant, however I have now been offered a job elsewhere as a Trainee Accountant, which I would think offers more of a future, as the job also includes training paid for by the company.

I have only been working in the warehouse for 4 days now, and although it is OK, I do not want to miss out on this other job.

Firstly, what would my notice period be, if I don't have a contract?

Secondly, what would I put on the resignation letter? I've seen quite a few, but it's just choosing the right words, as the people there are nice.

Finally, when should I hand it in? I am due to start this new job on 19th February, and would either like to hand it in tomorrow (2nd Feb), or Monday 5th Feb, as I need a week to do some preparatory work for the college training the new employer is putting me on. If I hand it in Monday, and assuming it's a week's notice, would I leave Friday the same week or the following Monday.

Is it normal to be in love with a radio station. I mean, honestly, i grew up listening to it, it developed my music tastes, guided me, made me homesick to hear songs while away that reminded me of home. once they pulled a prank and said they were going off the air and i freaked out, i know all the dj's; call in sometimes, on their web/member. always want to attend their events, but c'mon, i'm not that nutty. anyways, i guess this is the first time i've ever been a fanatic, not true, but i didn't know you could be a fanatic over something like a radio station. is that normal?

in rap songs they talk about how going to jail is cool and how being a drug dealer makes you popular.i mean really what kinda of a message are these rappers sending to our youth? Do they even care about what kinda of effect their songs have on our generation?when my mom was growing up in the 80's rap was positve.it was like poetry.nowadays all it is about hos,guns and drugs.

A coworker sent me an email that I was too weird for him to be friends with because I was sending him mixed signals. We had been close for awhile and I told him it was best that we ignore each other so I can get over my crush on him since he already has a gf. Anyway during all of this, he suggested that the best way to get over him was to sleep with him. I thought he really wanted me because he kept asking if I wanted to do it. Then he told me that I should do it with someone else since he already has a gf. Of course, I felt hurt ,angry, and embarrassed since I told him things that I wanted him to do to me. A few days later I called him a dog via text since he jerked my feelings around, then I felt bad about it and wrote a letter apologizing to him. This is what provoked him to ignore me for the past month. A few days ago, he looked at me like he wanted to say hello and I emailed him asking him if we could just treat each other like coworkers and say hi. He told me I was too werd.

i have very strange problem in myside. i start any work with full of attention and with determination but after some time i left that work in between. i dont know why but i left my almost work in between. i feel in my mind now i dont need that or what is so important. this is really bad for me, because of this i am unable to do or complete any work. can anyone sort out what is this problem and how it cure ?

I'm 24. For many years now it feels like there's been something missing in my life and i can't quite put a finger on it. It's so weird to describe but nothing i ever do or try seems to make me happy. I have a mortgage, fiancee and loving stable family but still it's as if something has been lost, I constantly strive to change and be more like other people in the hope that it will make my life better but nothing seems to work. Why do i feel like this? It's as if i'm searching for something that can never be found.

Just now I noticed a brown mark in my cat's green eye. It's medium sized and is mostly under where the lid is (I saw it when he was staring, wide eyed, at the sun).
Could it be that I just hadn't noticed an existing mark in 6 years?

Or is there any condition that causes staining / discolouring in an adult cat's eye?

It's not 'goo-ing' and he hasn't been in a fight (100% domestic).

does anyone know how common it is to not skip your period and still be pregnant . that was just a curiousity question because i kinda think i maybe pregnant but i got my period or what i think is my period 5 days early. however its kinda strange cause i havent had any cramps and its not as heavy as it normally is but ive had weird feelings in my stomach. and someone was saying to me about maybe i was one of those people who is pregnant that still ends up getting there period ..
