I m 24. Did not had any friends from my school days, college days even now, in my profession. At times i was close to people but did not taken effort convert those into great friendship. The only i was close his to my close family members. But I use to have misunderstanding with them as well, at those moments i felt like i was missing out on friends, but other times, i was happy with my books, TV & internet. What should i do now? How do i know someone is good friend if not one who make friend, I heard someone say it is better to be alone rather than with some bad company!.

I am smart, fun, and pretty. I have an okay job and I'm working my way up. I pay my own way in life as best I can. I live in a big city (Seattle) and I am active in lots of stuff. The problem is I can't get a date!

Every time I'm interested in a guy, everytime I find someone who seems to be a match for me, he says he's not interested or just blows me off. Every time a guy asks me out, he turns out to be a wierdo or a drug addict or something. The only serious relationship I've ever had was years ago, and I'm starting to think there's something wrong with me.

When I look at myself, I think I'm a pretty good catch, but nobody worthwhile seems to agree!

what is Shingles? how do you get Shingles ? Is it contagious?
any info will greatly help - a close friend has been diagnised with Shingles - has a large scar on the face - almost like a blood clot
a few tiny pimples around the forehead - need to know if it can be contracted by phisical contact - how would he have contracted it
- dont feel comfortable to ask him directly - he seems embarrassed enough -

What do you guys wanna do? Stay and finish the job? Or get out and go home to your loves ones? Be honest please.

Im actually thinking of volunteering myself to go to the desert. I am currently in the inactive Navy reserves, but i feel that so many people are against what NEEDS TO BE DONE, that i owe it to this country to go back and do more. I love this country, and i want to do what i can to keep this great country the way it is... the best.

i will have a surgery this 2nd febuary.i ve just called the clinic and asked whether i will be given any IV or gas or not during the procedure. they said no. they will only numb my gum, i think. i am so scared,really scared, of the sounds during the surgery. can i ask for IV or gas or something before the surgery?if can,do i have to call them to inform that i want the IV or i just come and tell them before the surgery start?

i am thinking to not have the surgery, but i have to because i will be wearing braces.i dunno if i have the courage to face the surgery.what i am thinking is getting the IV.any advise?
