my company has been bought out on dec.1, 2006 and the new owners said that they will not honor vacation time that was previously granted by the former owners. I have been there 12 years and was scheduled to take my last vacation on dec. 5, 2006.i was told that the new owners would not pay for it, is this illegal?

I think so... Ive met so many women that one day they love a man and say they do then the next day they just dont love them anymore, or they love more than one person intimately!! i have a question but first i need to explain the situation as a backdrop. i have a laptop, and wireless internet. this was before i had a wireless router so i have my own connection but my internet wasn't working so being a stupid guy that i am i thought that if i reinstalled windows xp and reboot my computer thinking it will fix the problem.

but that was long ago and now here is my question. when you go in MY COMPUTER and open up the C:/ drive and then DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS, the following folders are as follows: xxx~1~MYC, Administrator.MYCOMPUTER, ALL USERS.WINDOWS, xxx.MYCOMPUTER, ADMINISTRATER, ALL USERS, xxx.

The xxx are not really xxx they are just for confidentiality purposes. but why do i have so many folders. is it because i was stupid and rebooted my computer. how do i get it back ot normal. if i delete the folders will it mess up my hardrive or computer. it took space off my hardrive.

well there's this guy that i really like. he used to talk to me and stuff, but now he doesn't. when i send him messages on myspace he reads them, but doesn't answer back. we're both in the same grade, but not in many classes together. he knows that i like him. he's known since at least three months ago. when he does talk to me he'll just say hey, or bye. when i am around him he just ignores me. i asked him if he was mad at me but he said no. what do you think it means? do you think i should get over him or not? i really need some help. it would mean a lot to me!

I don't understand why any crime would have a statute of limitations, which essentially means that if you can get away with a crime for a certain period of time, you can no longer be prosecuted. Why would our nation's lawmakers allow people to get away with their cimes?

My friend is really annoying, stupid, needy, has to be in everything, ugly, full of herself, bossy, imature, looks at her self in the mirror calling herself hot, stupid, and freak, thats crazy 24-7 and doesn't know when to stop. But she's still my friend.. ANYWAYYS .. there is this one guy that she means the world to. He thinks everything of her. He can't let her go. She already crushed him once because she likes these "hot" guys that hate her. Now she wants to go back with him because she's dumb and can never get another bf. He is going back with her.. Why and how can he like some one like that ? I just don't see it at all !
I know i sound really rude when I say this...but she isn't the at ALL a great person. Yea she's a goodie tushu...but still.. how can he want something like that ? She still checks out and wants other guys..and he doesn't care ! I don't see at all how, why, he'd want that !
Why ??
