Meant to be savoured slowly like a good meal. Not rushed through. A fast-paced life isn't always worth living. North Americans need to learn a little from Europeans. Slow down. Relax. Enjoy your life. Don't hurry it. Let it happen in its own time. There's a difference between leisure & laziness. Hard work has its place. Enjoying your free time, your loved ones, your hobbies & passions is more important. It's not laziness to feed your soul. Work just earns you the money to live the rest of your life.

It all depends on how long U want to live. If U want to grow old,
live life slowly and carefully. Watch what U eat, excercise and
see the Doc. on a regular basis. On the other hand, if U really
don't give a hoot, do anything U dream about, live hap-hazardly
with regard to No-one, call No-place home. Eat & drink anything
U please, stay out all night, live like a Rock-Star until the money
runs out. Then write a book about & get on Oprah's show
tell everyone what tough way to go it is. Die a happy famous
idiot ! Sound like anybody U know ?

Right now, I think people need to slow down. They are so busy working (for material things, and some for survival) that they don't have the time and patience for their children, or for any recreation, relaxation--FUN.
Schools have become babysitters--daycare workers she little children's first steps (rather than the parents)--vacations become few and far between, and when they do occur are sometimes at least partially business related.
Why are some people working 2 and 3 + jobs? That is just too much stress--no good for health--no good for relationships--no good for sanity.
Time to kick back, folks--there has to be a better way.

Seeing as how life is passing so many of by..."I choose to savor each and every moment for the sake of remembrance of a time well spent, whether it was positive or negative I was able to grow and learn from each experience as well lived another day to enjoy the fruits of life."

Neither, Life sets its own pace for each one of us. No two humans are the same. It also depends on the basic inborn qualities of Satvic (Pure and logical) Rajasic (Vibrant and energetic) and Tamasic (Dull, inert and Lazy) as per Hindu Yoga Sutras.

i would say that life should be lived in the present moment, and then saying that is living quickly or slowly would be up for interpretation, but i would assume the most obvious interpretation would be that it is living slowly. taking in each moment to its fullest and not trying to be anywhere else but where one is.

i think life is best lived in between, not too fast and not too slow. take time to enjoy family, friends, career, hobbies and passions in life.
we would benefit from not thinking time goes by so quickly and trying to keep up with it. time is time and we can only try to use it wisely and enjoy it.

It depends on your objective.
For professional success, faster is better. For personal success, (especially with sex), slower, more relaxed seems to be the way to go.
