I'm a first grade and fifth grade teacher and I've been offered a 12th grade English teacher position (aka my dream job), one 45-minute class a day, for the remainder of the school year while the teacher's away on maternity leave. I'm considering taking it, but I'd like to know what it would be like (especially as my experience is in elementary education), what you do to make class fun and interesting for your students and any pitfalls/warnings that I should think about. It's a small private school, so my class would only be about 15 students, if that, but I would love some advice from actual 12th grade teachers!!

A blonde dials 911 to report that her car has been broken into. She is hysterical as she explains her situation to the dispatcher:
"They've stolen the dashboard, the steering wheel, the brake pedal, and even the accelerator!" she cries.
The 911 dispatcher says, "Stay calm. An officer is on the way. He will be there in two minutes."
Before the police get to the crime scene, however, the 911 dispatcher's telephone rings a second time, and the same blonde is on the line again:

I have an outdoor cat that had a spot on the side of her head and the side of her neck earlier in the week. I assumed it was from a fight or something may have bitten her. At the time it didn't seem to be botherinig her. But today, I noticed that she has scratched her fur off both sections and scratches to the point that they bleed. I plan on taking her to the vet first thing in the week, but am just wondering if anyone knows what this could be and anything that I can do at home in the meantime to make her more comfortable.

I donated a few thousand dollars to charity this year. Some cash, some household items. How does that work for claiming it on my taxes? Will I get that money back? Or does it come off of what I earned for the year, therefore I just get taxed less?

I am upstairs and my floor started vibrating and there were these REALLY loud bangs so I went downstairs to check it out, and it was just some mummers dancing in my kitchen... Phew...
I think I just had 3 strokes and 4 heart attacks.....

Im not being sensitive by ma skin but when i have a pimple and i started to scratch it the pimple turn blackish and my forehead is fulled of pimple! some of them are blackish too,can you give me some tips too Remove it,I'll give you some hit to solve my problem: well i have a dandruff and maybe it infect my skin too i don't know it's up to you. I sprang my knee snowboarding about a month ago and had to use cutches. When I went to work to give my boss my doctor's note it was difficult for me to go up the stairs so I had to ask someone assistance. I am now much better and don't need the crutches. But the company I work for still does not have an elevator.
